food IS a theme park
Salt & Straw in Disney Springs has given us not one, not two, but FIVE treats to try out this month!
Our New Year’s resolution is to work our way through this new menu.
We’re in Magic Kingdom ready to bring you another food review!
We recently tried a chicken sandwich from Cosmic Ray’s that didn’t blow our socks off, but now we’re heading back for another meal! Disney World does have vegan and plant-based options, but sometimes they can be hard to find or not very good. Which is why whenever we find one, we want to tell you about it right away —Â come with us to try a new plant-based offering at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe!
It’s no secret that not all Disney World dining experiences are created equally.
Whether you’re just looking for a quick snack, a filling meal that won’t take up too much time, or a sit-down meal that also doubles as a break from the parks — there’s probably something for just about everyone. But, did you know there’s one table service restaurant in EPCOT where you get to see and FEEL your food being cooked right in front of you?! Come with us to check out Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion for a truly unique dining experience at Disney World!
You might think that finding plant-based eats in Disney World is hard, but you could be wrong.
We’re seeing more plant-based options added to Disney World menus all the time! From plant-based Mickey waffles to plant-based Totchos to the Toasted “Lobster” Roll in Hollywood Studios, there are several snacks and meals that Disney World’s vegan guests can enjoy. Now we’re trying out even MORE plant-based options from Scat Cat’s Club at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter!
Picture it: You’ve just finished riding Avatar: Flight of Passage, and your next Lightning Lane isn’t until 1:30PM, when suddenly, your stomach starts grumbling.
There are a lot of places you could eat in Animal Kingdom, but it can be difficult to know where to start! Well, we’ve got you covered! We’ve already ranked ALL of the restaurants in this park, but today we’re taking a close look at one particular item to see if it’s worth your cash!
We’ve celebrated Halloween through snacks, and we’ve tried a bunch of treats for the 50th Anniversary, but now it’s time to go big for Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month in Disney World!
This year, Disney World is celebrating with a bunch of limited-time eats and drinks around the parks and resorts, and we (of course) are trying a bunch of them! Next on our list, we’re hitting up Animal Kingdom for two items you may be interested in.
Which Disney resort has better food: Disneyland or Disney World?
It’s a question that we could probably debate for hours, but at the end of the day, there are some pretty great options at both! And, thankfully, they both have some of the same items, too — like Dole Whip, soft pretzels, and beignets. There’s often some exciting things happening with food over at Disneyland, and a bunch of restaurants are about to get some new items!
The 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is underway and we’ve been eating and drinking our way around the world to bring you everything you need to know about this year’s fest.
Which snacks are worth waiting in line for, and which ones should you skip? We’ve done the hard work and tried all that the Food & Wine fest has to offer both new and old. But those with certain diets might find it a bit more difficult to navigate the festival and figure out which dishes are right for them. Luckily, we’ve rounded up all the vegetarian and plant-based dishes from the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!
If you don’t like change, Disney is NOT the place to go right now.
Whether it’s price increases, construction changes, or menu changes — change is the name of the game at the Most Magical Place on Earth these days. One of Disney’s signature spots — California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort — changed in a BIG way for Disney’s 50th Anniversary. It now offers a prix fixe menu as part of the festivities. But recently some changes were made to that menu and some NEW items were added. So, of course, we had to make our way over to this ever-popular place to try them out. Curious to know if these new dishes are things YOU should try? Join us on this food adventure as we find out together!
We’ve been seeing some tasty plant-based options pop up around Disney World lately.
Vegetarians (and those who just enjoy good plant-based food) have tons of delicious plant-based items to dig into, like Galactic Vegetable Wraps, Teriyaki Tofu Bowls, Mediterranean Vegetable Sandwiches, and more. And we have to admit….we’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much we’ve enjoyed these options (except for the Plant-Based Bratwurst at Friar’s Nook, that is). So today, we’re trying another Plant-Based Sausage in Disney Springs to see how it compares!
