We’ve been spending some time wandering around the resorts. And we’ve got some updates for you! Are you ready?
Hello, everyone! We’ve been busy doing what we do every day — going to Disney World, eating all the food, and checking out all the new merchandise in the shops.
Under the Boardwalk…
That also means we spend some time at Disney World’s hotels to see if anything has been going on there, too! So let’s get started with the updates!
Is it just us, or is Moana having a MOMENT at Disney World?
Characters say hello from a distance right now!
Between her upcoming EPCOT attraction, her own Disney+ series, the Moana-themed rooms taking shape at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, her Character Cavalcade appearances, and all the recent merch, it seems like the Disney star is suddenly as popular as Baby Yoda! The hype shows no signs of slowing, especially at the Polynesian, where we spotted a NEW Moana mug LOADED with unique artwork!
It’s normal to be biased when it comes to favorite hotels in Disney World, and that’s because Disney World has a hotel for just about any preference!

But when it comes to deluxe resorts, it seems we’re even pickier — we have solid opinions on which are our favorites, and sometimes, we just can’t agree! And that’s okay! So we decided to ask you, our readers, how your rated Disney World’s deluxe hotels! And your answers surprised us!
Disney has parks and resorts in several spots around the world, and each location has its own unique charm — and merchandise.
ALOHA from Polynesian Village Resort
Recently we’ve seen items from Disney’s Aulani Resort come “visit” Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and it has been fun to see new styles and characters represented. Today, we even spotted a pair of Aulani Minnie Ears we hadn’t seen yet!
When it comes to buzzy hotel news in Disney World, the Star Wars hotel gets a LOT of the attention!

But there’s a ton happening in the other resorts too, including some pretty MAJOR refurbishments in a few of our favorite — and most iconic — hotels, which will ultimately lead to three Magic Kingdom-area resorts with COMPLETELY new rooms!
We may not be able to visit Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto or Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace right now, but Trader Sam’s fans HAVE been treated to quite a few new merchandise items over the past few months.

We’ve spotted a Trader Sam’s purse, a Trader Sam’s nautilus tiki bowl set, and MORE. Today, we spotted ANOTHER new Trader Sam’s item, and much like the others, this one was selling out FAST!

We’ve found secret menu drinks, tried exclusive sips, and even thrown it back with a drink that hasn’t been in the parks for over 20 YEARS! But today, we wanted to test our creativity, so we headed over to Barefoot Pool Bar at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to concoct a drink of our own.
We just spent a lovely day traveling around Disney World’s Magic Kingdom resorts!
