The Thanksgiving weekend crowds have left Disney World, and we’re now heading into the holidays!

Granted, the holidays started WELL before Thanksgiving in Disney World, but you know what we mean! So let’s talk about food. Now, we’re a little disappointed that Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs won’t be opening in Disney World until 2024. But the hot chocolate flight we recently had made us feel better. Now, though, let’s look at restaurant menu changes in Disney World, because those are ALWAYS happening, no matter what.

Well, we’ve gone from Halloween to the holidays this week in Disney World — and we are here for it!

This Walking Path Is a Total Waste of Time in Disney World

While Disney World is home to all sorts of transportation options, from the Monorail to the Skyliner, sometimes it makes more sense to just walk.

The Monorail

In many scenarios, walking to the parks from the hotels is faster than taking the bus, Monorail, or Skyliner. In other scenarios, it takes the same amount of time, but taking the scenic route is worth it. However, there’s one walking path that we try to avoid as much as possible — especially when it’s super hot or cold. (Yes, there have been moments when it’s super cold and windy and we’ve been stuck on that path and it was MIS.ER.ABLE.) Let’s talk about it!

It Just Got HARDER for Some People To Get to Magic Kingdom

How do you prefer to get to Magic Kingdom? The Monorail? Ferryboat? Bus?

Did you know there’s actually ANOTHER way? Typically, you could get from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) to Magic Kingdom via a walking trail that takes you through Disney’s Monorail resorts. It’s a bit of a long walk, but it can be a much more peaceful way to get to and from the park than squeezing into a packed Monorail — if you don’t mind spending the extra time on your feet, that is. But unfortunately, that trail had a surprise closure recently that you might want to know about!

We’re halfway to Halloween, and we’re getting ready to celebrate. What better way to celebrate than by grabbing a tasty drink in a spooky souvenir mug?

The Trader Sam’s Haunted Mansion Gargoyle Tiki Mug has been a huge hit for Haunted Mansion-loving Disney fans for the past two years. The first edition of this mug came out in 2021, and the second edition came out in 2022. In honor of Disney’s 2023 Halfway to Halloween celebration, a third edition of this mug has arrived, and we’re off to try to snag one! While this is the third mug that Disney has released in this set, this is the FIRST one that has arrived at Disney World!
