2022 was a huge year in Disney news, from surge pricing to new park land teasers. We’re breaking down 2022 for you, so let’s take a look!

Now that it’s 2023, we thought we’d take the time to reflect on the past year.
2022 was a huge year in Disney news, from surge pricing to new park land teasers. We’re breaking down 2022 for you, so let’s take a look!
This is one of the BEST times of year to stay at a Disney World hotel.
Why? Because the holiday decorations are up, the Christmas trees are in the lobbies, the gingerbread displays are out, and the spirit of the holidays is EVERYWHERE. But there’s way more than just holiday stuff going on at Disney World hotels, so let’s see what’s new!
UPDATE: This tiki mug has since sold out, but check to see what is available at the Polynesian during your next trip.
Sing it with us! “In the tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki room!”
Okay, we aren’t exactly talking about Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room at Magic Kingdom, but we are going to talk about a tiki BAR instead! That’s right — we’re headed to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!
It’s the holiday season in Disney World, and you know what that means…
…holiday EATS and DRINKS! We’ve tried all the new and returning favorites at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays, eaten the exclusive snacks at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and now we’re headed to a Disney Resort Hotel to check out a NEW holiday dessert they’re serving up!Â
Happy Holidays from Disney World!
We’ve been enjoying the holiday decorations at the hotels, as well as the gingerbread displays, and holiday snacks! While we’ve been visiting the hotels, though, we’ve also checked to see what else is new. So on with the updates!
Happy Holidays from Disney World! Yes, we’re celebrating the festive season!
We’ve been visiting the hotels to enjoy the gingerbread houses, the holiday snacks, and everything else that makes the season merry and bright. We’ve also been checking out everything else at the resorts, so let’s see what’s new!
Disney World hotels are the place to BE around the holidays!
We’ve seen decor go up around the parks, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off in just a few days, and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays is just around the corner. But the hotels have so much holiday cheer as well — you’ll find fun decor, special gingerbread displays, and exclusive treats. So let’s look at the latest updates from the Disney World hotels!
October has come and gone, but WOW!
A LOT happened in the spookiest month of the year, and we’re not even talking about all the Halloween stuff. We saw a Disney World restaurant that has been closed since 2020 FINALLY reopen and we ate a LOT of fall snacks. We also saw A LOT of menu updates at Disney World restaurants, and we’re laying them all out for you right here.
When you go on a Disney World trip, there are probably a few things on your bucket list.
Maybe it’s completing the mountain coaster challenge (riding Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in one day). Maybe you want to eat from every single booth at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! One thing that is on many guests’ lists on a Disney World trip is to eat an iconic snack like Dole Whip!
If you’ve ever been to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you might have tried Tonga Toast for breakfast.
That delicious breakfast is usually found at Kona Cafe (although we’ve also ordered it from Capt Cook’s and made it at home), but the restaurant has been closed for a little while now while undergoing a refurbishment. Well, the cafe will reopen soon, and we have a first look at its makeover!
