We love what we have in Disney World and Disneyland, but come on — World of Frozen just opened in Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland is getting a super cool interactive Haunted Mansion experience soon, and now Shanghai Disneyland is getting ready to open their Zootopia land, and we can’t get over this adorable new popcorn bucket!

For this monumental occasion, Disney World is going all out. We’ve been seeing all kinds of merch, treats, and costumes pop up around the parks all year — but today (September 22nd), things are really kicking off in EPCOT. New Outdoor Kitchens debut for the International Food and Wine Festival, Soarin’ Over California is temporarily replacing Soarin’ Around the World, a shiny new Mickey statue has arrived, and more! But one of the most anticipated releases of the day is a new popcorn bucket! We stopped by to pick one up — come check it out!

‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ Popcorn Bucket
I mean, what’s better than a cool accessory to tote around the parks that DOUBLES as a vehicle to hold your popcorn? We can think of few things that are better than that. Well, it’s Halloween at Disney World, and we’ve already seen the exclusive Nightmare Before Christmas popcorn bucket that you can grab during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Now, though, there’s a NEW popcorn bucket joining the lineup! (Well, new to us over on the East Coast. The Disneyland-goers have already been able to snag this bucket!)

We’ve seen some REALLY cool ones, too. Yes, that includes the Figment Popcorn Bucket that everyone lost their minds over. And that EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Popcorn Bucket that looked like a picnic basket. Then there was the Cinderella Carriage Popcorn Bucket that was released for Disney’s 100th Anniversary. Here’s the thing. Many of the popcorn buckets are very cool, but they’re not very functional — that won’t stop us from buying them, though!

In 2023, those visiting Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive Halloween bucket, and these can often be VERY popular. In 2022, the exclusive Halloween popcorn bucket featured Zero, the ghost dog from The Nightmare Before Christmas. This year’s party-exclusive bucket? Well, you’ll just have to come along with us and find out!

Every year, we see the Disney World merch team round up the usual suspects for Halloween: new Loungefly bags, Crocs, Starbucks Tumblers, and pins. Lots and lots of pins. Don’t get us wrong — we love all those spooky Loungefly bags, but this year something new caught our eye.Â

When we discovered Disney’s NEW Halloween popcorn bucket, we immediately fell in love. It even reminds us of the SUPER popular Light-Up Mickey Pumpkins that sold out in 5 minutes flat on shopDisney recently. (Those pumpkins may return online soon, though!) So naturally, after discovering this new popcorn bucket, we HAD to show it off. But there’s one small problem; we may need to book a flight just to get ahold of this new souvenir.Â
