SO much happened in May: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has officially opened in EPCOT. We had a ton of announcements come in from Star Wars Celebration. While all that was going on, we also kept an eye on every menu at Disney World restaurants so we could keep you updated on any changes.

We’ve been gearing up for Star Wars Celebration, sharing all the big news and announcements, but don’t think we’ve forgotten about food because, well, FOOD IS our middle name (literally). We just visited Disney World’s hotels, checking in to see what’s been going on with them lately.
It may no longer be Mother’s Day, but the celebration hasn’t stopped!

Tons of new treats popped up around the Disney Parks for Mother’s Day, like this beautiful cupcake, this treat combo, and a mimosa dessert! And even though Mother’s Day has passed, we’re still not done trying Mother’s Day treats, as some are still available! So we went to Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts to try the Mother’s Day Cupcake!
April is over and to quote Mickey, “OH, BOY!” It was certainly a busy month in Disney World — at least when it comes to eating and drinking (something that we LOVE to do!).
New snack at a NEW restaurant!
With festive treats to celebrate Easter and Halfway to Halloween to price increases on several iconic snacks, there was already a lot to keep track of. But then Disney surprised us and opened up a BRAND NEW restaurant in EPCOT, Connections Cafe and Eatery. We’ve got a lot of menu updates to cover — so let’s get right to it!

So much has happened at Disney World since the beginning of the year as things begin to return to normal at the resort. We’ve had some good news about the return of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review, the Festival of Fantasy parade has already returned, Fantasmic! will reopen sometime this year, ALL of Disney World’s hotels have reopened, and most of Disney World’s restaurants have reopened or have reopening dates. We’re also still seeing a lot of menu updates at Disney World restaurants!

Maybe it’s one of the Port Orleans Resorts because they have beignets (and yeah, we get that). Maybe you’re an All-Star Resorts fan because of the value pricing.
