It’s a well-known fact that EPCOT is home to some of the best snacks in all of Disney World.

There are so many fantastic table service restaurants to experience AND great quick service restaurants. And when there’s a festival going on, like how EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is happening right now? Oh, there are so many fantastic options. But we have to say — we recommend this one snack above almost all others because it NEVER disappoints us.
If you’re heading to EPCOT, you’ll have a LOT of snack stands to choose from!

There are treats to be tried in every World Showcase pavilion, plus the lands at the front of the park, so how do you choose where to go? Well, recently I stopped by one of EPCOT’s slightly more hidden spots to try ALL the eats on the menu. Let’s head to Sommerfest!
Do you have a sweet tooth? Do you crave those cupcakes, ice cream bars, and sweets from the bakery case? Or perhaps you love a good dessert, but are looking for something a little out of the box, something special beyond a basic vanilla cupcake (though, we love those, too).

Once you’re at Disney World, you’ll probably be eating all of your meals there. Avoid sticker shock by looking at menus before you arrive! Disney has over 400 restaurants to choose from and there’s a pretty big variety of options and costs.

Price increases continue to impact a lot of food options throughout the restaurants at Walt Disney World. (In early 2022, we saw HUNDREDS (literally, hundreds) of price increases impact restaurants and snack spots throughout Disney World. Popcorn refills & popcorn buckets, DOLE Whip floats, Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bars, Mickey waffles, alcoholic drinks, and MORE all went up in price.)
Snacking around Disney World is one of our favorite pastimes! And when you’re faced with choosing between SO many treats at Walt Disney World, it’s important to narrow down your options. Especially when it comes to noshing in EPCOT — where the snack choices seem endless.

Sometimes it’s fun to get out of our comfort zone and try new foods in Disney World, even if the flavor combination sounds bizarre — like with the 50th Celebration Cone, made with Dole Whip lemon and cookie dough soft serve (which oddly works!).

Sommerfest
Now that’s something to get excited about. Yes, new snacks arrive ALL the time. But we get excited about all of them, especially when they’re delicious, like the new Pluto dessert at EPCOT, the Hot Cross Buns at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the Mint Cookies and Cream Shake at Disney Springs. So yes, we’re excited about a brand new Bread Pudding that’s arrived at EPCOT.
