Just recently we’ve seen price increases hit the parks and resorts on everything from bottled water and special experiences to SEVERAL Disney World restaurants…again. Three character dining experiences are included in those restaurant price increases — and we’re sharing all the details you need to know.
Price increases are hitting Disney World again, folks.
Watch out for those menu price increases
We just saw that prices are going up for private photo shoots, some Star Wars experiences, food, and more in Disney World. And now, prices are also going up for drinks around the parks.
In discussing park price increases, Disney CEO Bob Chapek once said, “If demand goes up, then we have the opportunity to do that.” Well, we regret to inform your budgets, but it seems that the time for price increases has arrived.
Hey, Mickey!
We’ve seen price increases implemented for Genie+ at Disneyland, surge pricing introduced for the standard Genie+ service in Disney World, price increases announced for Savi’s Workshop and Droid Depot, and cost increases revealed for more experiences. Earlier in 2022, we also saw hundreds of price increases hit Disney World restaurants, and now it looks like food price increases are happening again.

You have to buy your park tickets, book a hotel if the trip calls for it, not to mention plan for eating all those delicious Disney snacks and treats while you’re there. It adds up quickly — and when price increases hit the parks, it can make you rethink your Disney World budget. These price increases may seem small, but they’ve made a BIG difference to our Disney World budgets!
If there’s one thing you absolutely should NOT be surprised by when it comes to the Disney parks, it’s…change.
