You’re traveling the World Showcase at Walt Disney World’s Epcot, and you need some Tiramisu. Trust us, we know the feeling. 😉 Head on over to the Italy Pavilion, and pony up to the Via Napoli Donkey Cart.
Pixar Fest Eats: Habanero Meatball Cone at Disney California Adventure’s Cozy Cone
has invaded Disney California Adventure Park — and you knew the Cozy Cone Motel had to get in on the fun!
Pixar Fest Eats: Adventure Tart Inspired by UP! at Jolly Holiday Bakery
The Disney-Pixar film Up! is known for its steadfast commitment to adventuring — and in that spirit, the foodie brains behind Jolly Holiday Bakery‘s contributions to Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort have created a tart in that same spirit: the Adventure Tart. And while the flavors aren’t going to transport you to another land, it’ll still leave you satisfied with the journey.
The tart appears to be in the spirit of everyone’s favorite childhood breakfast dessert: a Pop Tart. In shape and in composition, the Adventure Tart mimics this cereal-aisle gem. The rectangular Adventure Tart is covered in a thin layer of nondescript glaze on which is attached an iconic image from the film: Carl, Russell, Dug, and the ubiquitous house kept aloft by colorful balloons.
The New Tangaroa Terrace Menu at Disneyland Hotel May Look Familiar…
Every once in a while a menu change at Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World sparks a flame of excitement for the DFB — and this is one of those times! Our Disneyland correspondent Heather (keepin’ it tasty @DiningInDisney on Instagram!) headed to Tangaroa Terrace at Disneyland Hotel recently — only to discover that the new menu she’d been so anxious to try is basically the same menu that can be found at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar (also located at the Disneyland Hotel)!
Pixar Fest Eats: Peanut Butter and Jelly Eclairs at Jolly Holiday Bakery in Disneyland
is the place to go for bakery treats at Disneyland Resort. We love everything about it, from the styling of the building to the classic and trendy treats within. To join in the Pixar Fest fun, Jolly Holiday Bakery has a colorful and tasty addition to the Pixar Fest Food Checklist!
Pixar Fest Eats: Strawberry Funnel Cake at Disneyland’s Hungry Bear Restaurant
Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort
has quickly earned a reputation for being a hub of creative churros — we’re talking Cocoa Churros and so many more. But these portable, cinnamon-sugar sticks of fried dough deliciousness aren’t the only classic Disneyland snack to get the Pixar treatment!
Pixar Fest Eats: Woody’s Boot with Root Beer Float
Since Pixar Fest began at Disneyland Resort last week, we’ve been bringing you tons of eats (and a few drinks) from this super fun festival. We’ve shown you how to color-change noodles, dug into a double-berry funnel cake, and shared our favorite Cocoa Churro.
But there’s more to Pixar Fest than themed grub — like themed souvenirs! And one of our favorites is Woody’s Boot — complete with ANDY written on the bottom!
Pixar Fest Eats: Color-Changing Noodles at Lucky Fortune Cookery in Disney California Adventure!
fans, it’s time to try our luck at one of the more intriguing Fest eats: Color-Changing Noodles! When this one was announced, we couldn’t wait to make some monster magic — and we hoped they’d be as tasty as they were unusual!
So naturally we headed straight for Lucky Fortune Cookery to get our scary little paws on this festival dish!
Fruity Pebble Funnel Cake Fries at Disneyland?!?!
Pixar Fest
has invaded just about every restaurant at Disneyland Resort — including Award Wieners! This fantastic hot dog spot was the site of the Summer of Heroes’ Funnel Cake fries last year, and this year, the themed funnel cake fries are brand new…and awesome!
When That Disney World Restaurant That’s Never Open…Is Open! Tomorrowland Terrace Eats!
Alert! Alert! Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant is open!
This seasonal quick service spot is located right at the entrance of Tomorrowland in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. And when we say seasonal, we mean, like, super seasonal. It’s very rare to see this spot open, but Spring Break’s notoriously massive crowds were enough to open the Restaurant for the lunch time rush — 11AM to 3:30PM during my visit!
The menu here is small and variable, and it won’t appeal to every Walt Disney World guest. But if you’re looking for something simple and fast, this might just fit the bill for you. Plus you can use Mobile Ordering here, making this an even more convenient location!
And it’s actually a pleasant place to dine during the spring (and early summer before the heat really kicks in!). There’s a reason Tomorrowland Terrace is the spot for the Happily Ever After Fireworks Dessert Party: views! The seating here has a Hub and Castle view (albeit blocked from some seats).
So join me as I check out Tomorrowland Terrace!
Atmosphere
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant is about what you’d expect from a counter service restaurant in Tomorrowland: some neon, funky fonts on the signs, and lots of metal (or metallic) accents.
