2021 has arrived and it’s going to be a BIG year for Disney!
With the 50th Anniversary of Magic Kingdom coming later this year, several new attractions opening, and multiple refurbishment projects around the resort, there is a lot to see at Walt Disney World this year!
We’ve seen quite a few changes in Disney World recently! LOTS of festive decorations have gone up recently, and holiday snacks are popping up around the parks and resorts (one of which wasn’t even sure what holiday it was celebrating!), and the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance morning boarding group sign-up process has changed.

Several construction and refurbishment projects are going on right now around Disney World.
We’ve been keeping an eye on the refurbishment work going on at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, the TRON coaster construction, the refurbishment of the Magic Kingdom entrance sign, and more. About a month ago, we shared that the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island in Magic Kingdom would be closed for a lengthy refurbishment, and now that refurbishment period has been extended.

Over the years, Disney has added three more parks, two water parks, and a TON of new attractions.
