If you’re heading to Disney World soon and haven’t been in a while, you might be surprised to see some of the CHANGES taking place in the parks.
American Adventure
The TRON coaster is nearing completion in Magic Kingdom, there’s new audio on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and construction on the Moana attraction in EPCOT is moving along. Recently, another Disney show saw some changes and we’re going to explore it now.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Kona Cafe closed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort back in August with no set reopening date in sight. Recently, we noticed that the Disney World website was showing available times for Kona Cafe starting November 1st, though that reopening date had not officially been announced. Now we’ve got an update!
It’s been two years since Disney World reopened, but there are still several things that haven’t returned to the park.

However, we’re seeing many of those things finally returning just over the last few months, from the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue to Victoria & Albert’s Restaurant to Minnie Vans. Now, ANOTHER popular thing has officially reopened in Disney World: the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

The Finding Nemo Show Has Opened!
Of course, that’s not always a bad thing. For example, Disney World recently welcomed back the reimagined Finding Nemo show, the Mickey and Minnie meet and greet at Adventurers Outpost, and the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue. But the fun doesn’t stop there, as we’re about to see many more changes around the parks. There are a few restaurants with tasty options in this park, but one particular fan-favorite is The Hollywood Brown Derby. What if you want to grab some of the delicious menu items from the Brown Derby (including that famous Cobb Salad) without a reservation and without the full indoor dining experience? There’s one spot that has fully reopened in Hollywood Studios that gives you the opportunity to do just that!

Grand Floridian
One restaurant that hasn’t reopened (yet) is Citricos at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We shared last year that the restaurant would be undergoing a refurbishment and now we’ve got a BIG update on just how the restaurant has been reimagined and when it’ll be open again!
