A number of restaurants all around Disney World are still closed, operating under limited hours, or have a more limited menu than they did prior to the park closures.

There is a lot of change happening all over Disney World, and especially over at Magic Kingdom.

The Main Street Confectionery is set to close soon for a LENGTHY refurbishment, the Castle is in the process of getting 50th Anniversary decorations placed on it, and some rides will be getting fancy new details soon. And today we spotted something new — a Magic Kingdom attraction that had been closed for refurbishment has now reopened!
The Downtown Disney Starbucks West is officially open!

We welcomed back the Starbucks next to World of Disney last month, and now, the second location is back up and running, too! It reopened TODAY, and you know we were in there checkin’ out what’s new. And sure enough, we spotted a special new WandaVision-themed drink!

We’ve got some BIG updates on a new ride and a new restaurant coming to Disney World THIS YEAR(!!); a whole park (a water park that is) has reopened at Disney World; we got a sneak peek at the Spider-Man ride in Avengers Campus and MORE!

Starbucks
Not too long ago, one of the two Starbucks locations in the shopping and dining area reopened (and we were pretty happy about it). But now, the Downtown Disney Starbucks West location has announced its reopening date!

Just this month, we saw some restaurants reopen, other spots get new menu items, and a change in Boarding Group distribution times announced for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. December is almost over, but January will bring some even BIGGER changes at Walt Disney World. Hollywood & Vine, Woody’s Lunch Box, hotel restaurants, and more have gradually started to welcome guests again throughout Walt Disney World. And today, we’re headed to Magic Kingdom to check out another spot that will join that list — Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant!
When Disney World reopened earlier this year, after the park closures, several restaurants and hotels reopened with it, but many remained closed.
Wilderness Lodge
Over time, we’ve seen some spots reopen, but several are still closed. Today, however, Disney has announced when one fan-favorite resort — Disney’s Wilderness Lodge — will be reopening!
Disneyland Resort reopened a small portion of Disney California Adventure Park for shopping and dining.
Carthay Circle
Buena Vista Street welcomed guests last week with modified gift shops and outdoor dining options. The Carthay Circle Lounge was adjusted to fit the California health mandates that require restaurants to seat diners outdoors. The lounge is now serving guests on a new make-shift patio. Upon opening, the lounge was only taking walk-up reservations for guests visiting Buena Vista Street…until now!
Aside from shopping at the Disneyland Backlot Premiere Shop, we haven’t stepped foot INSIDE a Disneyland Resort theme park since March!
Disney California Adventure Park
But that is all about to change TODAY! It may not be the same as running through the park and riding Radiator Springs Racers or the Incredicoaster, but today we’re going to have the chance to walk down Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure for some shopping and dining and we could practically cry of excitement (tears may or may not have already been shed).
