Things are always changing in Disney World. Rides close and new rides open. New restaurants are announced and new celebrations take over the parks. We’ve already seen a bit of change coming to Disney World restaurants and dining in 2023, but here are the three best changes so far.

We’ve seen old rides close while new ones open, the addition of more dining offerings, and the return of character offerings that were unavailable during the pandemic. But now, we’ve got another big change on the horizon — the closure of a classic Disney restaurant!
A LOT is happening with Disney World food right now. That’s because the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival has officially kicked off, bringing some AMAZING food booths and snacks to the resort.

But we’re also celebrating Women’s History Month, which has also brought some new snacks to Disney World. PLUS St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, meaning we’ll see some new GREEN treats popping up soon. However, the biggest changes are happening on Disney World restaurant menus, so let’s get into those updates right now.

California Grill
California Grill, located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, is known for its spectacular views and fantastic food. Previously, the restaurant served a regular menu where you could order individual items. That was swapped out for a special (and pricey!) prix fixe menu to celebrate Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. But the 50th Anniversary is ending soon, so what will the menu be like after? We have an answer!

Over the past few months, we’ve seen Disney World restaurants impacted by menu changes and price increases. We’ve also seen restaurants resume their traditional buffet service, bring character dining back, and make other changes. Soon, changes will be hitting another Disney dining spot!
Where has the year gone? It’s speeding by so quickly. Spring Break is pretty much over, and now Disney World is gearing up for the summer! Just wow!
