IT’S HERE! The day is finally here!
We’ve been waiting for the opening day of Roundup Rodeo BBQ for what feels like forever. We hope you’ve got your reservations because this restaurant officially opens TODAY!
In Disney World, you can get everything from exotic cuisine to fancy meals that are made with the finest ingredients. But sometimes, you just want to travel back in time to when things were simpler!
There are multiple retro diner-style restaurants in Disney World, but one of our favorites has to be Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. This iconic spot is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and we’ve loved it in the past, but we decided to make another trip recently to see if it still stacks up to our standards. Let’s go!
If we’ve learned anything from dining at every restaurant in Disney World, it’s that the food experience varies wildly from place to place!
Not every restaurant in the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs is going to knock your socks off, but not all of them are bad either (in fact, some are pretty outstanding!). You may expect that if you’re staying at one of Disney World’s Value Resorts that you’ll end up with “bad” food at your hotel. But is that really the case? Recently we stopped by one of the food court-style restaurants to do a full review and find out!
Did you know Disney has a secret shopping center in Orlando, but it’s NOT at Disney World?
That shopping center is Flamingo Crossings in Winter Garden, which Disney has BIG plans for. The area will contain hotels, stores, and restaurants. Retailers and restaurants continue to sign up to move into the area, including Target, Starbucks, Five Below, and more. Now, a new RESTAURANT is on the way.
Here at Disney Food Blog, we talk about Disney World food a LOT. But we also want to make sure we give the West Coast some love!
Disneyland Resort has dozens of delicious restaurants, plenty of seasonal eats, and some snacks that could throw down against Disney World snacks any day and WIN. So whether you’re a Disneyland newbie or you’re a regular visitor, we’re here to share our thoughts on the dining at Walt’s original resort. And on a recent visit, we stopped by to review Cafe Orleans!
Well, howdy! Welcome to Andy’s backyard!
If you’ve been to Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you probably already understand the premise of the area: you’ve been shrunk down to the size of a toy! That’s why Slinky Dog is so HUGE when you ride Slinky Dog Dash and why the toys in the area are GINORMOUS. Well, now we’re going to a new play area that Andy has created where you can try some good old-fashioned BBQ!
There are a LOT of restaurants opening in Disney World in 2023!
We’ve got Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land and The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk. But another one that we’ve been watching closely is Summer House on the Lake in Disney Springs. The restaurant has been under construction for a little while now, and we’ve finally got an update on its opening timeline!
It seems like we’re constantly getting new restaurants in Disney World these days!
From the ones that arrived with the 50th Anniversary (like Space 220 and Steakhouse 71) to the newer options coming soon (like Roundup Rodeo BBQ), there are plenty of exciting new places to eat in the parks and resorts. But soon, we’ll be getting a NEW hotel restaurant in Disney World!
Ever since Disney World reopened in 2020, we’ve been waiting for some offerings in the parks to return to normal.
We’ve seen restaurants slowly reopen and character meals come back, but it has taken quite some time for one restaurant to return to its old operations. The full character meal is FINALLY back at Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom, but you’ll be paying a bit more to experience it.
When you’re staying at a Disney World resort, you’re sometimes in a rush to grab breakfast before you hit the parks!
Many hotels offer quick service restaurants with Mobile Order, but sometimes that can cost you valuable minutes when you’re hurrying to make the bus. So what’s the solution? Well, the grab-and-go spots, of course! And recently, we stopped by one of those places to give you a look at what it’s like.
