We’ve already shared some exciting updates about the construction projects going on around Disney World and updated you on all the price increases that occurred last month. Now we’ve got some interesting ride news to share about Space Mountain — items have now been BANNED from the ride!
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are both set to reopen on April 30th, 2021. So far, we’ve taken a look at California’s updated theme park reopening guidelines and more details about the future reopening.
Disneyland Will Be Open Again Soon!
But soon, some regulations that could impact the reopening will likely be changing.
Disneyland Paris was most recently set to reopen in France in April, but it has since delayed that reopening due to the situation with COVID-19 in the country and travel restrictions.

This week, the announcements have just kept coming. We’ve got 2 different restrictions or requirements reportedly under consideration that could REALLY impact your travels around the U.S., the closure of a Disney animation studio, the reopening of a Disney park for a super special event, and more. There’s been some BIG news shared this week and we’re sharing all of the most important stuff with you.
Walt Disney World reopened with limited capacities throughout every building on the property. All gift shops, restaurants, rides, and shows were reduced to accommodate physical distancing between travel groups.

Upon reopening, Disney World had a reduced capacity of 25% and the theme parks attracted fewer crowds. It was recently announced that the theme parks were raised to 35% and we’ve seen an uptick in crowds over the holidays. Attractions are seeing increased wait times and Disney has been adjusting experiences to accommodate the lines. But what about restaurants? While Disney World hasn’t shared specifics, we have seen a quiet increase in capacity within the restaurants. So, what does dining at a Disney World restaurant look like now that the parks have been reopened for a few months?
Since reopening, Disney World has maintained limited capacity in restaurants across property.

During the initial stage of Disney World’s reopening, maximum restaurant capacity was limited based on the state government’s reopening plan. However, since Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced that the state is now in Phase 3 of reopening, restaurants are no longer subject to capacity restrictions.
Earlier this week, we reported the National Basketball Players Association and NBA had finalized their plans to finish their 2019-2020 season at Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

But despite having all of their terms agreed to by Disney as well as the NBA executives and athletes, worry seems to be looming over the resumptive games.
