There are few things in this world that we love more than cheese.
Since we spend a lot of time in Disney World dining at various restaurants, we’ve tried a variety of cheese-inspired dishes, from charcuterie boards to pasta to cheese soup. But if you know about our obsession with plastic cheese, then you know that we’re big fans of cheese made for dipping. And the king of all dipping cheeses? That’s easy — queso!
A lot of exciting things are happening over at Disneyland Resort.
One of the most exciting is The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, the new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) property that recently opened. We had a chance to visit recently, but something was MISSING at the time: the Palm Breeze Bar. Well, we finally got word that the bar would open soon, and the day has come to go see it and try it out!
Happy Holidays, everyone!
Yep, Halloween is over, the holiday decorations are out, and we’ve been listening to Mariah Carey all day long. We’ve been looking forward to this day for a WHOLE year, and it’s finally arrived. Today, the Starbucks holiday drinks and snacks are officially available, including in Disney World. So we’re trying one of the NEW holiday drinks, as well as an old favorite snack. Deck the halls, y’all!
There are plenty of places to eat in Disney World.
But if you ask us, some of the best meals are hiding around the Disney World hotels! Not only can you find some delicious eats, but you’ll also run into iconic Disney characters if you know where to look. And since we do, we’re sharing one of our favorite Disney World breakfasts with you!
It’s Halloween season — and you know what that means!
It’s time to enjoy the last few days of spooky season before Christmas takes over Disney World (and it already is in some places). That means enjoying the last few days of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Mickey Pumpkin wreaths, and the Halloween snacks. But we just found a NEW Halloween snack that…well…seems a bit familiar.
Sometimes when you stay at some of the largest Disney World hotels, you want to find food nearby … especially if you’re REALLY hungry.
We’ve recently seen upgrades to Disney World hotel pool bars and lounge menus, but how do some of the hotels that haven’t seen changes to their menu lately compare? [Read more…]
Here at Disney Food Blog, we don’t go to Disney World for the typical theme park food very often. When you have things like Dole Whip, Pongu Lumpia, and Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, it makes chicken tenders seem a little boring.
Sure, Disney World does have some good hot dogs, French fries, and popcorn. Sometimes, we even find decent pizza. Hey, we’ve even found some great burgers in Disney World, and we just discovered one that’s SUPER tasty, but we’re going to add a warning about it.
Finding just the right mid-day snack in EPCOT can be overwhelming.
With so many great options between snacking on a sweet treat from Karamel Kuche or stopping by one of the Food & Wine Festival booths for a walkable snack, there are so many places you can’t go wrong. But where do you go if you’re looking for a little cooler snack but still want the option of walkability that won’t slow you down on the way to your next ride? We’ve got just the answer for you! If you’ve ever been to the Cheesecake Factory, you know that some restaurant menus are excessively long. Seriously — if a restaurant needs spiral binding to hold all its menu pages together, there may be too many options. On the other hand, some people prefer restaurants that have smaller, constantly rotating menus. For example, Homecomin’ in Disney Springs just debuted four new menu items!
Here at Disney Food Blog, we like a little variety. Sure, you can’t go wrong with the classic menu items at places like Wine Bar George or Le Cellier, but it’s nice to see what’s new every once in a while! We’ve been trying a LOT of new menu items recently, so now we’re back to show off the top TWO new menu items we can’t stop thinking about.
