After some MASSIVE jumps in wait times at Walt Disney World last week, things have stabilized a bit.

Going to Disney World is a lot of fun — no one can argue with that.
But sometimes, for just brief moments, it can be something else. Sometimes, it can be overwhelming (especially when it’s crowded and lines for everything are long). Sometimes, it can induce anxiety. The same goes for rides in Disney World: The rides are fun, but certain things can be VERY awkward — EVERY single time.
After Disney struck gold with the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, we knew more ride-based movies HAD to be in the works.
And sure enough, we got a Jungle Cruise movie in 2021 (that we thought was actually pretty entertaining). Then, of course, there was a second Haunted Mansion movie (which was…well, okay). Well, now, Disney has decided to take things even further with another ride-based movie, but this time, we’re scratching our heads as to how that ride will translate into a film.
May The Force be with you, Star Wars fans.
We bet you’ve spent a lot of time hanging out in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You’ve probably taken a spin on Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run once or twice (or maybe a lot more). But did you know that you could access a special mode on that ride that could change the entire experience?
Waits were LONGER across the board at Walt Disney World this week.
After last week saw wait times go down pretty much across the board at Walt Disney World, this week saw that trend unfortunately head in the opposite direction. Major attractions at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom saw increases in their average wait times, some as high as 10 MINUTES!
Okay, everyone stay calm, but we’ve been getting more and more clues EVERY day that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom could get an opening date VERY soon.
Not only did we recently see some Imagineers actually ride-testing Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but Disney has been dropping more details about the characters and animatronics we’ll be seeing on the ride. However, we think we just got a HUGE clue that we’ll be getting an opening date for the ride ANY DAY NOW.
Y’all, the moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived!
After weeks of seeing pretty high average wait times, the Spring Break crowds have finally left Disney World! Wait times have gone down significantly at every single park, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Along with that, the walkways are also a lot less crowded — so getting around the parks has been so much easier, too. We’re hoping that these low wait times are here to stay — at least for a little while. [Read more…]
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is “Almost There” (yes, we’ll be referencing songs from The Princess and the Frog FOREVER).
We’ve been following construction on both versions of the ride in Disney World and Disneyland. We’ve learned a LOT about some of the characters we’ll get to meet as we float down the bayou. We’ve also learned a bit about the new gift shops coming to Disney World and Disneyland. But what about merchandise? There HAS to be merchandise, and well, there OBVIOUSLY has to be ears. Well, we’ve got a first look at the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Minnie Ears!
The Monorail is an iconic part of the parks. Walt Disney had a passion for trains, and the monorail was one of his dreams for the parks.
To this day, the monorail is a key form of transportation around Disney World, and it definitely has its own fan club. You can even find monorail merchandise!
Wait times have not been letting up at Disney World this week!
However, it might not be in the way you’re thinking. This week, the average wait times have remained fairly…consistent. Still long, but a lot of wait times only had changed by a few minutes. Of course, we still have some that jumped up a good amount — like a handful of the major E-ticket attractions. We’re still feeling some impacts of those Spring Break and Easter crowds, so we’re not too surprised. [Read more…]
