That means we’ve learned about how even more Marvel is coming to Disney Parks all over the world. In Disneyland Resort, Avengers Campus is going to expand and add two new rides. At Shanghai Disneyland, a Spider-Man roller coaster is on the way. Plus a new Marvel ride was announced for Hong Kong Disneyland — and we’ve got the details.

We’ve been at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event all weekend, which means we’ve seen some HUGE announcements revealed about new attractions and experiences coming to Disney Parks all over the world, new expansions for parks, new cruise ships, and more. We’ve learned that Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure is about to double in size with two MORE attractions, but that’s not the only Marvel parks news we have. We also learned about a brand-new Spider-Man ride!
It’s here, spooky readers! Halloween has officially arrived in Disney World because the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party took place last night!

We are had SO much fun experiencing everything the party has to offer: from exclusive characters to exclusive snacks (ALL the snacks, y’all!) to exclusive entertainment, we are ready to jump into Halloween season head-first. We stopped by on the first night of the 2024 party season to check out the offerings, including the entertainment, snacks, and, of course, the trick-or-treating. Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando! This week saw an interesting pattern develop, and we need to talk about it.
EPCOT
Three of Disney World’s four theme parks — Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios — all saw their average wait times decrease over the past week. However, Disney World’s fourth theme park — EPCOT — saw wait times go up? Is this an effect of the new Lighting Lane Multi Pass system?
One of the things about Disney World is that things are always changing, and new things are always right around the corner.
Hollywood Studios
For example, Splash Mountain closed and became a new ride, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Country Bear Jamboree recently got a new show. Test Track is getting a reimagining. So, a classic Disney ride getting updated isn’t a new thing. Now, some fans think that one ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios may be due for a reimagining, especially with some news that just dropped recently.
In January 2024, Universal Orlando revealed details about the five themed lands that will make up Epic Universe: Celestial Park, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and one we think most people are pretty excited about: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

Every week, we check the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando! This week, the Magic Kingdom classic saw incremental wait increases, while the rest of Walt Disney World remained relatively staid, with some decreases.
Lightning Lanes in Walt Disney World
Disney World’s longest average wait time was for Flight of Passage, as usual, but the ride saw a rare 9-minute DROP in its average wait time. It will be interesting to see what, if any, effect the new Lighting Lane system will have on wait times next week.Â

Space Mountain
With Peter Pan down for its first full week, Space Mountain saw a large jump in its average wait time at the Magic Kingdom. Meanwhile, Disney World’s longest average wait time was for Flight of Passage, as usual, which jumped over 10 minutes this week.Â

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
First, you get FREE transportation that takes you to pretty much anywhere on Disney World property from your hotel’s front door. For those staying in Disney World value hotels, you also get Early Theme Park Entry, which allows you access to the theme parks 30 minutes before the general public. For those staying in Disney World deluxe hotels, you also get Extended Evening Hours, meaning you can stay in the parks a few hours after the general public has to leave. However, there’s something you need to know about Extended Evening Hours in Magic Kingdom.
