To say we were FLOORED by how amazing each land was and how we loved the rides (especially Anna & Elsa’s Frozen Adventure) is an understatement. We also learned a lot more about how this expansion was put together and how Disney Imagineers ultimately decided what would and wouldn’t go into these new lands.Â
After wait times EXPLODED last week, things got back to normal at Walt Disney World.Â

Wait times were pretty much what we expected this week, with one surprising exception: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure overtook Frozen Ever After for the title of longest average wait time at EPCOT.Â

Well, although we’ve been to Disney World HUNDREDS of times, we’re still learning something new every day. We just recently learned something about a Magic Kingdom ride that blew our minds, so we had to share it with you!
Waits increased pretty much across the board at Walt Disney World this week.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
The major attractions at the magic Kingdom and EPCOT both saw quantifiable increases in average wait times over the first full week of May. Not to be outdone, Animal Kingdom’s Flight of Passage – the ride with the highest average wait time in the whole resort – leapt up close to 100 minutes.

We’re starting to learn so much about the five themed lands coming to the new theme park! We recently learned some fun new details about Super Nintendo World and the Isle of Berk (which is inspired by How To Train Your Dragon). We have a lot of details about the new park’s entrance area, Celestial Park, too. We’re also super stoked to learn more about Dark Universe, but for now, we have NEW construction photos of its roller coaster, Curse of the Werewolf.
The Disney Genie+ service has been divisive amongst park-goers since its introduction, and Cast Members also have a bit of a love-hate relationship with the service.

The Disney Genie service was introduced after the pandemic as a replacement for the old FastPass+ system. The service includes a complimentary planning tool, along with the option to add two additional options. These options are the Genie+ service and purchasing Individual Lightning Lanes.
Y’all…we’ve only spent a short amount of time in Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea, but we’ve seen some of the most amazing things we’ve ever seen in a theme park.
Peter Pan’s Never Land
This new expansion has brought three new lands to the park and each land is highly imaginative, greatly detailed, and absolutely gorgeous. We’ve seen some ride technology that has blown our minds and we’ve had so much fun spotting all the little details in all of these lands. But there were some things that we saw that TOTALLY shocked us — in a good way.

We compiled the average Disney World wait time data for the past seven days (April 26th–May 2nd), and we need to tell you the interesting trends we’ve spotted.
