We’ve received loads of refurbishment announcements over the last few days! But as a recently redone dining location reopens, another one will be closing.
Traveling to Disney World is VERY different now — and we want you to be prepared.
We’re constantly on the lookout for new tips to bring you, especially when it comes to contending with all the changes in a reopened Disney World. It really is a whole new world in and around the parks, so we’re bringing you EVERYTHING you need to know to be an expert on your trip. Here are 5 brand-NEW tips for traveling to Disney World in the age of this “new normal!”
We know better than anyone that there are a lot of ways to chow down at Disney World. A LOT.
Some of our favorite ways to eat at Disney come in the form of special Dining Events. We L-O-V-E the Fireworks Dessert Parties in Magic Kingdom, and we are here for the Dining Packages for events like Fantasmic! or festival shows like Disney on Broadway or Garden Rocks!

All eyes in Epcot are on World Showcase Lagoon in 2019, because IllumiNations — the beloved fireworks, laser, and light show — is scheduled to end in the second half of the year. And to make the most of the final nights of the show, Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room in Epcot’s United Kingdom is now offering Illuminations Dining Packages!
Tonight is the first official night of this dining package which includes three courses and a patio seat for the big show! And thanks to DFB’s Travel Agent partner, Small World Vacations’ Sue P., who happened to get a preview last night — we’ve got everything you need to know about this unique dining experience BEFORE it officially begins!
This year marks your last chance to see Epcot’s current nighttime spectacular, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. The show will end its run before the end of the summer of 2019 to make way for a brand new spectacular.
And now, a new Dining Package will soon be open for booking offering a meal with seating on the patio of The Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room in Epcot’s UK Pavilion from which to enjoy a fantastic view of IllumiNations along with a prix fixe menu of Rose & Crown favorites AND unlimited alcoholic (for guests 21 and over) and non-alcoholic beverages! Attention tea lovers! Stephen Twining, of the famous Twinings of London tea company, is headed to Walt Disney World! The tenth generation member of the royal tea family will be in Epcot this Thanksgiving weekend!
Stephen, who serves as Director of Corporate Relations for Twinings of London, will greeting Guests at the Tea Caddy in the UK Pavilion from November 21-24, 2018. Tea fanatics can stop by where Stephen will be talking tea and signing merchandise.
What’s better than a home cooked holiday meal? A holiday meal at Walt Disney World!
Nearly every restaurant in Disney World features a turkey-based or holiday meal on Thanksgiving and Christmas days. But Disney features special holiday meals at select restaurants throughout Walt Disney World on these holidays every year as well. Disney just announced this year’s list of participating restaurants, so let’s take a look!
