We go to Disney World every single day — in fact, we’ve been to the parks for 1,335 days days in a row, since they reopened after the pandemic-related closures.
Even before that, we were in the parks daily, bringing you the latest news, updates, food reviews, and more for 15 years. Despite Disney World being basically like our second home, we’re still learning — especially since Disney World is still evolving. But, in all our years of going to Disney World daily, this is the one trick we wish we had known sooner.
One of the most important things you need to think about when it comes to planning a Disney World trip is your feet.
Yep, your feet are VERY important because you will walk miles and MILES at Disney World without even realizing it. That means your feet (and legs…and hips) are going to take a beating unless you’ve packed the right shoes for your trip. We know a lot of you swear by Adidas shoes, so here are the best ones you can grab for your next trip to Disney World. Oh, and they’re all available right on Amazon!
Yes, we talk a LOT about shoes here at DFB. That’s because the right — or wrong — shoes could make or break your Disney vacation.
Here’s the thing: you’re probably going to do more walking at the Disney parks than you ever do at home. You’ll need some shoes that can handle all of that without giving you blisters and keeping your feet happy. If you’ve been looking for some good shoes, though, now might be the time to get them because they’re on sale at Target.
Well, it’s official. It’s a New Year in Disney World!
We’ve finally said goodbye to 2023 and will soon be saying hello to a lot of new things in Disney World, including regular park hopping, some new restaurants, the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, and more! But we’ve been keeping an eye on things in Disney World to see what’s trending, and we’ve got an idea of what we think will be trending this year.
We’ve learned two VERY important facts about you, our DFB readers, this year.
First, it’s no secret that you love Disney as much as we do. But you know what else you love? Well, we see how much you adore Crocs (and some of you swear by Crocs as your parks shoe). But you know what else we learned? Y’all also love McDonald’s (and we could blame the new Disney100 Happy Meal toys for making that love grow). So what happens when those two things are combined? Well, we’re about to find out.
Well, well, well, if it isn’t the consequences of our collective actions, back at it again!
Crocs have taken the world by storm — everyone from boaters, gardeners, theme park goers, and more sport these rubber shoes that were once a fashion faux-pax. Society decided that these iconic clogs were in, and ever since, we’ve seen the brand team up with some high-profile celebs and brands — from Jimmy Kimmel and 7-Eleven to Balenciaga. Now, the craze has caused a new mutation of these unique shoes, and we think they’re really going to kick up some dirt.
Marvel fans, this one is for you. Marvel has grown to be a household name and it has brought us some incredible characters.
Whether you’re at Avenger’s Campus in Disney’s California Adventure meeting Spider-Man or watching Loki Season 2 from your couch, it’s great to watch and interact with these comic book stories that have come to life. Now, thanks to Adidas, there will be a way for you to rep a fan-loved Marvel character every day.
So you’re planning a trip to Disney World, now what?
You’ve probably started working out your budget while figuring out where to stay and which park tickets to get. Maybe you’re figuring out where to make your advance dining reservations. But have you thought about your FIRST day in the parks? If not, we’re going to give you a heads up about things you should NOT do on day one of your Disney World trip.
Are you already counting down the days until your next Disney World vacation?
We talk a lot about what to bring to the parks. We have told you about the embarrassing items you might need on your trip. We’ve shared the items you’ll never regret putting in your park bag. Now, we’re begging you to NOT bring these things into Magic Kingdom.
