There’s a lot going on in Hollywood Studios! We collected all of the construction updates in one place. Before you even get in the park there’s a lot of construction to see between the new bus stations and Skyliner station.
Hollywood Studios Skyliner Station
There’s a Skyliner gondola in the station again! This gondola looks like it is more operational than the gondola we saw in the station last fall. Learn more about this new transportation option coming to Disney World this fall here.
The Disney World landscape continues to change quite rapidly with the ongoing construction of the Disney Skyliner gondola transportation system, which is slated to open to guests in fall of 2019. This, of course, includes progress at each of the stations along the way, which will ultimately connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four Resorts: Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach and the upcoming Disney’s Riviera Resort.

is one of our favorite places to be during the Holidays. Between the Flurry of Fun, Sunset Seasons Greetings, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM show, decorations, and so many eats, and a new car entrance along with Skyliner progress there’s just so much to see and do here. Our latest trip to Hollywood Studios was packed with updates! The park is starting to get ready for the holidays and the arrival of the Flurry of Fun (that starts this week!) with lights and merch all over, progress continues on Stars Wars construction and refurbishments and they are ready to open a new car entrance! Disney is keeping us busy — and excited for the Skyliner opening in 2019! On each of our visits to Hollywood Studios and Epcot, plus any of the resorts along the Skyliner route, we anxiously check out the progress. Yesterday we checked on the progress of the Skyliner Station at Epcot.

This week we got to see them working on a more artistic aspect of the Skyliner, the art on the station roof.
As November nears, that means we are one month closer to 2019 — and 2019 brings the launch of the Disney Skyliner system! We’ve been keeping you updated on the progress of the stations at Hollywood Studios and Epcot, and Disney teased us with a release of their fun facts video. This weekend we checked in on the progress of the Hollywood Studios Skyliner station as well as changes to the parking lot to accommodate the new car entrance to the park opening November 8th.

They are getting pretty close here! You can see the roof matches the style of the Hollywood Studios entrance gates. Are they even getting the ground ready for some new grass?
Holiday Greetings from Hollywood Studios?!! Yes, for some reason the “Christmas Creep” has started and we are seeing Christmas decorations up in Hollywood Studios — as well as some Christmas Merch — sitting right next to the Halloween Merch!
