Well, it has CERTAINLY been a week in Disney World, right?

Things are VERY busy right now in the parks, so much so that Magic Kingdom recently reached capacity. However, we also got some NEW details about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, as well as saw some permits being filed for the new expansion for Magic Kingdom. On top of that, Disney World restaurants changed up their menus this week. So let’s take a look at that!

That hasn’t stopped us from trying out some new treats this week, though, like a Carrot Tart, a Tower of Terror-themed cookie, Easter Egg macarons, and more. However, Disney World restaurants have been switching up their menus this week, too, so we’ve also been tracking those. Let’s see what changed!
What a week in Disney World!!!

We have made our way ALL over EPCOT to enjoy the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival (and all that glorious food!). We’re also gearing up to eat a TON of special Easter snacks in Disney World. However, we have been keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus and have noticed some changes we want to tell you about.
The first month of 2022 is coming to a close, so it’s time to recap the best and worst things we tried in January around Disney World!
EPCOT Festival of the Arts
January is one of the months of the year where we try a ton of new dishes at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, so there were some top (and bottom) picks that you’ll find on this month’s list. But there were a few additional items we wanted to make sure we included as well! Let’s dive in and review the food and drink items that stood out to us from this past month, for better or for worse.
Oh, DOLE Whip, beautiful DOLE Whip, how we love thee, let us count the ways… .
We love you so much
Whether you’re classic pineapple or part of a delicious float or watermelon or lemon and lime, or well, ANYTHING that is considered a DOLE Whip, you will always be one of our favorite things to eat at Disney World. But now, we’re having our minds BLOWN because we’re mixing up our very own DOLE Whip creations. Say what?!?!
We don’t know about you, but we get super excited when new snacks arrive at Disney World. NEW FOODS TO EAT! What’s not to love?
We’re eating some new snacks at Typhoon Lagoon!
If those snacks just happen to be boozy, well, bonus points! And let’s face it, Disney World comes up with some cool and unique alcoholic offerings for adults, like a caramel apple cider, pineapple wine, and a fun martini flight! Today, we’re trying a boozy DOLE Whip drink, and, yes, we’re THRILLED!
If you’ve never visited Disney World’s water parks, you may have missed out on some delicious food!
There’s more than just water rides here!
At Blizzard Beach, we’ve previously eaten our fill of Edible Cookie Dough, Chocolate-Dipped Key Lime Pie, Bacon and Macaroni and Cheese Hot Dogs, and a whole bucket of ice cream (#sorrynosorry). But Blizzard Beach has closed for refurbishment. 😟 However, Typhoon Lagoon just reopened and WE NOW HAVE NEW SNACKS TO TRY!
We love almost ALL Disney Food, which is why it’s in our NAME! But we’ll have to admit that we definitely have our favorites.
Snack Shack
From the Carrot Cake Cookie at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to the Kakamora Float at Magic Kingdom to the Caramel Popcorn at EPCOT, we’ve watched as some of these faves and come and gone, so we’ll always celebrate the return of a favorite (and at least most DO end up returning eventually!). And today, one of those snacks we adore has finally reappeared again! YAY!

Typhoon Lagoon is officially reopening in Disney World on January 2nd, 2022!
