We’ve already seen 100th anniversary merchandise in the parks and online and a huge celebration will be kicking off soon in Disneyland, which will also get TWO new nighttime shows. Well, we now have a sneak peek at one of those shows!
2023 is the year of exciting new additions at Disney World!
Let’s go to EPCOT!
One of the biggest additions will be the completion of the EPCOT transformation toward the end of the year, and as part of that, we’ll be getting a new walkthrough attraction. We’ve seen concept art and photos from the upcoming Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, but now we’ve got our first VIDEO from inside the attraction!

The Festival of the Arts is kicking off in a few weeks at EPCOT, and After Hours events are returning to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios in January. But one of the first things that’s coming up soon is the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend from runDisney, and we just got a sneak peek at the event merchandise!

Train!
The Walt Disney World Railroad is reopening after being closed since 2018. The train got a bit of a makeover, including a new narration and a new route that just so happens to go under Magic Kingdom’s newest attraction — TRON Lightcycle Run. We got the chance to climb aboard the train, and now we’re showing you what it’s like to go through the TRON tunnel on the train in Magic Kingdom.
There are a LOT of highly anticipated Marvel movies and shows coming soon!

If you’ve seen the trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, you’re probably pretty hyped, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is likely going to be a very popular movie. But on top of that, we’re getting a second season of multiple hit Disney+ series, including the fan-favorite Loki!
There has been a LOT of big news about Disney World restaurants this past week!
Toy Story Land
First, we saw a TON of price increases at restaurants, but at the same time, Monsieur Paul finally reopened, AND we got a reopening date for Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, both in EPCOT. Now, we’ve got a little bit of a sneak peek at what some things in an upcoming restaurant will look like!

This is what we feel like — a mix of Halloween and Christmas.
Since Disney starts celebrating Halloween in mid-August, it feels like we’ve been in “spooky season” for quite a while now, and some of us are starting to count down the days until the holidays start. Christmas in Magic Kingdom
We just learned that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is returning to Magic Kingdom in Disney World, the start date for Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT, which holiday festivities are returning to the parks, when a holiday overlay is coming to Disneyland, and more. But, the news isn’t done yet, because Disney just gave a FIRST LOOK at a very special holly jolly series coming to Disney+ later this year!
