We have posted about how our readers say to skip Cosmic Ray’s, but we have four reasons why we actually love to eat at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe.
It is about to be a HUGE couple of months for Disney World! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and CommuniCore Hall & Plaza will be opening in June, we are expecting Country Bear Musical Jamboree to open this summer, and the Food & Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party kick off in August.Â

We heard something about an eclipse, so we dashed over to Magic Kingdom to say hi to our pal Sonny Eclipse! We shortly realized that was probably not what the fuss has been about these past few days. Instead, there’s a much more exciting solar event happening today (sorry, Sonny) — here’s what you need to know if you’ll be in the parks during it.

But some of our favorite characters are the ones who might not come to mind as easily when you think of the House of the Mouse. We’ve seen the hippos from Fantasia in the Easter Parade, hugged Baloo and King Louie during Earth Month, and were even lucky enough to jam out with TRON Goofy during a media event this year. When we’re in Magic Kingdom, we often like to stop by Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe to say hello to the quirky Sonny Eclipse while we chow down on a burger and fries. This audio-animatronic alien crooner is an icon at this establishment, but today, he went MISSING.
