food IS a theme park
Food and drink costs in any Disney theme park can seriously add up!
If you’re looking to grab some fun drinks, stay hydrated, AND save $$, we’ve got just the thing for you in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District!
One of our favorite spots to grab a drink in EPCOT (and all of Walt Disney World really) is La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico pavilion.
We’ve had all kinds of unique creations here. But, today La Cava is doing something extra special since it is National Margarita Day. Today, this spot is offering a specialty drink in a SUPER limited edition souvenir cup and we got to check them out!
One of our favorite spots in EPCOT is releasing a (very) limited edition souvenir cup and drink!
There’s no shortage of awesome drinks in EPCOT. But even among some hefty competition, La Cava del Tequila still manages to stand out as one of our go-to places for a delicious beverage.
We’ve all been there before when you’re patiently waiting in a long line at Disney World (maybe playing Heads Up with your fam).
Buuut, suddenly you’re hit with a spray of bubbles from one of your kids out of nowhere. Or, you might even get blasted in the face with water from a misting fan (we’re not sure which is worse). While we usually LOVE shopping for Disney merchandise, there are definitely a few items that we’ve regretted purchasing!
It’s time to get into the holiday spirit. And we really mean SPIRIT.
On this fittingly stormy day at Disney World, we traveled over to Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill at the Beach Club Resort to check out the newest cocktail blowing its way into the pool bar!

When we first visited The BOATHOUSE (caps official!) in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs back in early 2015, it wowed us with its quality seaside eats and charming decor.
We enjoyed it so much in April of that year that we returned in November to see if The Boathouse was staying afloat in the ever-changing landscape of Disney Springs. And it really was!
Truth be told, we still got a little sticker shock when we perused that mostly-seafood-and-steak menu, but with the food being as good as it was, we sort of got over it. So much so that in 2017, we headed back for dinner!
Yeah, you could say we’re fans. But even when a restaurant proves itself to be consistently good (with the exception, maybe, of that crazily overpriced, not very good S’mores Baked Alaska!), it’s our duty to keep checking on things to, you know, make sure it’s still awesome. So put on your life jacket and hoist the sails because we’re hitting the high seas at The BOATHOUSE.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opened last weekend and the cutest member of the Guardians has to be Baby Groot! We just love the little guy, so we were super excited when we spotted a couple of Baby Groot items at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today!
How cute is this Baby Groot Sipper? You’ll find the cup at the popcorn carts at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. He can be yours – filled with your favorite fountain beverage – for just $12.75.

No matter what the weather is like in your corner of the world right now, imagine – for just a moment — that you’re enjoying a warm, sunny day in Central Florida. It’s so warm, in fact, that you need a little something to help you cool down.
Well, there’s no better stop for a frosty treat than Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland! (Though Dole Whip diehards may disagree, and head on over to Aloha Isle.)
If you pay a visit to the Orange Bird , you’ll find something new you can take home with you after polishing off your Citrus Swirl.
And here it is… check out this cute souvenir Tiki-Tankard! [Read more…]

I finally got a chance to spend an exorbitant amount of money on one of the new Test Track Cone Cups this weekend!! Woo-hoo!
This souvenir cup emblazoned with the Test Track logo is, I’m pretty sure, the same type of cup that Cozy Cone Motel guests receive in Disney California Adventure.
In Florida, you can find it at Cool Wash, right outside of the Test Track fastpass machines. This spot isn’t often open, but when it is, you can find a variety of frozen drinks.
On my visit, I went with the “icee” version of [Read more…]

As we get closer to the June 15, 2012 opening of the new Cars Land in Disney California Adventure, we wanted to take a look at what we know so far about the Radiator Springs’ restaurants.
After all, we’ve come along way in gathering details about these venues since our earlier reports. And while we’re not holding our collective breath, we’re still crossing our fingers that someday we’ll see an announcement for a drive-in type restaurant similar to the Sci-Fi Dine-In at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.
For now… let’s take a look at what we DO know is coming in just under two months.
This is the hot-spot when traveling along historic Route 66! Resembling a giant air filter in Radiator Springs, Flo’s V8 Cafe will serve cuisine inspired by the Mom ‘n Pop Diners we all know and love. As a quick-service option for breakfast meals, lunch, and dinner, the cafe will also have an outdoor patio overlooking [Read more…]
