food IS a theme park
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been BUSY this week. And no, we don’t just mean with crowds.
From some fun new collectibles to a LOT of new merchandise, we have so much to cover! Let’s dive right in.
Really missing a stroll through Disney’s Hollywood Studios?
Well, this week we spotted a lot of new things in the park — from construction to merchandise — and we’re excited to share all our findings with you! So take a virtual stroll through Hollywood Studios with us as we share everything you missed if you didn’t get the chance to stop by.Â
For the 50th Anniversary, Disney World has amped up pretty much EVERYTHING.
What do we mean? Well, we’ve got EARidescent glitter-covered snacks, shiny 50th Anniversary banners decking out all the parks, countless new merchandise collections, and it seems like that logo is slapped on everything we see! And this week, we found another 50th Anniversary-themed souvenir that you’ve probably never noticed.
There are few things that spark a fire in the hearts of Disney fans like a limited-time souvenir.
We’ve seen incredibly long lines during the 50th Anniversary for new merchandise, virtual waiting rooms on shopDisney for limited release items, and don’t even get us STARTED on what things were like when Disney World reopened…after they had announced that Splash Mountain was getting a retheme. And today, we’re met with this phenomenon again, but this time at EPCOT!
Happy New Year! We’re celebrating the best way we know how — in Walt Disney World!
The parks are flooded with guests hoping to count down to midnight with fireworks and dance parties, and you can definitely tell that it’s one of the most crowded days of the year. And if you’re one of the ones in the park celebrating this year, then you should know about an awesome freebie you can get!
Star Wars and the Disney Parks go together like Han Solo and Chewbacca!
One of the coolest things about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is how immersive it is. The moment you walk in, you feel like you’re on another planet, and you might as well be! All of the food, drinks, and merchandise were created to fit seamlessly inside the Star Wars universe. Most of the time, it’s awesome to feel like we’re completely detached from our planet, but this time, it had us a bit confused.
The holidays have arrived in Magic Kingdom, and so have some new souvenirs!
Disney World sippers can be a really fun souvenir to hold your drink AND take home from your visit, and now there’s a returning holiday-favorite sipper that JUST arrived in Magic Kingdom!

Have you laid eyes on the cuteness of Disney Wishables?
These collectible little plushes have become very popular in the Disney Parks and online. We’ve seen sets inspired by Peter Pan’s Flight, Incredibles, and more! Recently, we spotted the seasonally appropriate VILLAINS Wishables in Disney World — and now they’re available online!
One of the signature and fan-favorite parts of the Boo-To-You Parade is the very beginning, where The Headless Horseman leads the way.
This year, the Headless Horseman hasn’t made his spooky appearance in Disney World as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been replaced with Disney After Hours BOO Bash, and the Boo-To-You Parade is not available for guests to see. The Headless Horseman is set to make an appearance in Disneyland though at Oogie Boogie Bash. But, if you want to snag a view of the Headless Horseman in Disney World and even bring him home, you’ll want to check out some of Disney’s latest merchandise!
We’ve all seen those dads in Disney who wear the funny shirts that say things like, “Most Expensive Day Ever.” Or maybe a simple #BROKE will suffice.
It’s funny because it’s TRUE! Because Disney World trips are so EXPENSIVE! HOWEVER, there are some things in Disney World that — shockingly enough — won’t break the bank to experience.
