We’ve been waiting what feels like forever for this Future World food spot to open. The anticipation has been building as well, with us getting a sneak peek inside, finding out what’s on the menus, and seeing the signs finally go up! And, we haven’t been the only ones waiting to eat here, according to the opening day lines we saw this morning!

Space 220 has FINALLY opened its doors (or should we say elevator?) to the public in EPCOT! It seems like we’ve been waiting to hear about the opening day for this new restaurant for lightyears. Ok, maybe that’s a little bit of an exaggeration. But it has been a while. After all, we first found out about this innovative space-themed restaurant back in 2017! The restaurant was supposed to open some time ago, but met with delays. Since then we’ve been gathering all the news we could as we waited for more. And now, SPACE 220 HAS ARRIVED! Well, get ready to check off all those boxes at EPCOT’s newest restaurant, Space 220! This immersive, space-themed restaurant was announced a number of years ago and was set to open way back in the winter of 2019. Its opening date has been delayed by quite some time. We’re getting new rides, a new flagship store, a remodel of Club Cool, and new attractions to explore! Part of this transformation includes a new space-themed restaurant called Space 220. We found out earlier this summer that the dining experience is scheduled to open this fall — Disney revealed it is specifically set to open in mid-September — and now we have a first look inside the restaurant!
Since it was first announced, we’ve been anxiously awaiting the day we could finally dine at Space 220 in EPCOT.

Space 220 is a new, immersive space-themed restaurant that was announced back in 2017. The restaurant was originally slated to open back in the winter 2019, but after several setbacks, including the loss of its executive chef, the projected opening date was delayed. Following the construction halt during Disney World’s extended closure, we began to wonder when we could finally experience this restaurant — and now we have an answer!
