This has been a strange year, but it’s got some bright sides.
Most of the time, the best place to snag seasonal Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa and Disney Cruise Line merchandise is when you’re at the resort or onboard a ship. Sometimes though, these items will pop up online. It looks like we’re in luck today as we’ve found TWO spooky Halloween Spirit Jerseys!
Steamboat Willie is truly an animated classic and this November will be the film’s 92nd anniversary!
We love this iconic movie and we especially love seeing new merchandise representing Steamboat Willie! Normally, we get to see Steamboat Willie steering his friends during Fantasmic! but with Fantasmic! currently unavailable, we have been missing our favorite mouse! It’s not too often we get new attire featuring the original black and white Mickey, so when we saw that shopDisney released a new spirit jersey, we were beyond excited!
Sure, it’s a little rainy, but that didn’t stop us from recently taking a walk around EPCOT.
So here’s an update on what we found since our last stroll around the park.
This is Halloween, everybody makes a scene! Especially all of the fun Oogie Boogie merchandise we have spotted throughout Disney World and Downtown Disney!
A couple of days ago we let you know that the Oogie Boogie Popcorn Bucket is back in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom! There is even a new feature allowing you to get two churros instead of popcorn. Turns out, the Oogie Boogie merchandise train doesn’t stop there!
It seems the Disney villains are taking advantage of the Halloween spirit, and making their comeback in a very big way.
We’ve seen everything from stickers to throw blankets and leggings featuring some of the characters we just love to hate. Now, we spotted another wickedly cool piece of merchandise that’s made its way to us from the Underworld.
Sometimes, you just need a lil’ taste of Disneyland, even while the theme parks are still closed. Luckily, we can always head on over to Downtown Disney, the Disneyland Resort’s shopping and dining district.
So, what’s new at Downtown Disney?!
What strange and unusual summer it has been!
First off, Disney World shut its gates mere WEEKS after the 2020 Flower and Garden Festival began, making it the shortest EPCOT festival of all time. Then when the parks reopened, EPCOT’s longest festival in history began — the 2020 Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!
He may not look a day older than a puppy, but Mickey Mouse’s best pal Pluto is turning 90 this year!
And what would any birthday celebration be without a few presents?!
While Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are still closed and Disneyland’s hotels have asked guests through September 5th to reschedule, Downtown Disney, the Disneyland Resort’s shopping and dining district, is OPEN for guests!
We took a little stroll through Downtown Disney to do a little shopping (duh!) and to see what’s new! Come along with us!
