Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Is OPENING EARLY in Disney World

This is NOT A DRILL! Disney just announced a NEW opening timeline for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom!

The new ride, themed to Disney’s The Princess and the Frog movie, is replacing Splash Mountain in both Frontierland in Magic Kingdom and Critter Country in Disneyland. Splash Mountain closed in January 2023, and Disney previously announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure would open in “late 2024.” Then, they started removing the “late” language, leading us to believe that the ride could open sooner rather than later. In case you missed it, Country Bear Jamboree is now closed in Magic Kingdom. But don’t worry — it’s coming back!

Those Country Bears are POPULAR!

It won’t look the same as the opening day Disney World attraction with changes to the songs, costumes, characters, and more, but it will return this summer in its new form. We were in Magic Kingdom on the last day of operation witnessing lengthy lines for the show just to see the final run get canceled 😢.
