Hollywood Studios has been getting the galactic treatment recently with the grand opening of the Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. (And, it’s basically the coolest ride EVER.)

But, just like we had to say goodbye to our friends at the end of The Rise of Skywalker, we might have to bid farewell to some beloved Star Wars entertainment in the park soon.
We popped into Epcot and Hollywood Studios today and have some construction updates for you!
Finally! Star Wars fans rejoice! The stage show A Galaxy Far, Far Away is back! After monitoring weeks of refurbishment work in the stage area we were glad to see the stage back when we were in Hollywood Studios today.

It’s like welcoming back an old friend to see this mobile stage in its rightful place again.
Hollywood Studios is a busy park these days!
In addition to the Skyliner coming in 2019, there also is work on the Chinese Theater’s new ride and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge both coming in 2019. PLUS Christmas has arrived — we’ve got Santa Alien Popcorn Buckets, a decorated Toy Story Land, and so much more! Plus Plus (haha!), the Flurry of Fun holiday events start this week! Check out everything we found!
Share Your Ears Wall at Hollywood Studios
There’s a #ShareYourEars wall in Hollywood Studios. Snap your picture and post it with the #ShareYourEars hashtag and Disney will donate to Make a Wish Foundation. You’ll find this wall in Animation Courtyard on the way to Toy Story Land. There’s also a #ShareYourEars wall in Magic Kingdom by the Purple Wall. We anticipate seeing walls in Animal Kingdom and Epcot as well.
Our latest trip to Hollywood Studios was packed with updates! The park is starting to get ready for the holidays and the arrival of the Flurry of Fun (that starts this week!) with lights and merch all over, progress continues on Stars Wars construction and refurbishments and they are ready to open a new car entrance! There are signs of change and building anticipation for the arrival of the new land Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios all over the park. We checked in on three things on this visit: the changing Tatooine Traders to see the progress of their refurbishment, the work being done for the missing Star Wars: A Galaxy Far Far Away stage show, and finally what we can see of construction progress on Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

As you can see, the stage area for Star Wars: A Galaxy Far Far Away is still undergoing some serious work. The show has been on hiatus for almost four weeks, looks like it will be missing for a little while longer!
Holiday Greetings from Hollywood Studios?!! Yes, for some reason the “Christmas Creep” has started and we are seeing Christmas decorations up in Hollywood Studios — as well as some Christmas Merch — sitting right next to the Halloween Merch!
