It opens to the public on March 1st and it’s going to be different than anything Disney has done before, with a 2-day experience that’s more like a cruise than a resort stay. For those who booked the (rather pricey!) experience, it’s just a few weeks until they’ll get to be aboard the Halcyon Starcruiser, and we just got more details on what the trip will be like!

If you don’t know, this is the Star Wars hotel that will be at Walt Disney World. It should be completely immersive to where it feels like you’re actually on a ship flying through space, complete with characters, special food, and even lightsaber training. Basically, it’s a Star Wars’ fans DREAM. We’ve seen a lot about the Starcruiser, but still don’t really know what the layout of the ship is like, until NOW!
We’re just a few weeks away from the opening of the Star Wars Hotel (Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser) in March of 2022.

So far we’ve seen pricing for the hotel, heard about some of the experiences that will be on board, shared a sneak peek at the lightsaber training experience, and more. But today we got some BIG news about a special experience guests will get to enjoy while on the Starcruiser.

We’ve already seen a look at some of the experiences on board, like special entertainment, lightsaber training, and what characters you will encounter. As we get closer to the opening, we’re seeing more and more preparations happening. Yesterday, we saw that the hotel had been added to one of the bus directory signs, and now, there is another new sign in Disney World!

This new out-of-this-world experience is set to open in March and some dates have already started to fill up.
