Remember those awesome Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge gift cards we suggested you buy when visiting the land? Well, like the Kyber Crystals, these SOLD OUT before Galaxy’s Edge began operating without reservations.
But guess what my friends!!

OMG IT’S HERE!
We finally have opening dates for the second (and most highly anticipated) Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge ride — Rise of the Resistance! — on both coasts!
Bright Suns everyone! As the crowds remain shockingly low at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland, it seems as if a few cuts or changes are on their way.
The first to go, the Bright Suns Morning breakfast plate…
has already opened in Disneyland for quite some time now. And come August 29th, it will officially be opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, too!
And if you’re like me, then you’ve probably dreamed of exploring the planet of Batuu as if you were the VIP head of the Empire or Rebel Alliance… Well, good news…now you can!!
It’s ALMOST HERE! Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on August 29! And we can’t wait to say “BRIGHT SUNS!” on the east coast!
We’ve been waiting for details about the immersive land, and now we have a taste of what’s to come. This morning, we got our first look at the menu for Disney World’s version of Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo! Docking Bay is the primary dining location and food stop in Galaxy’s Edge, offering several counter-service options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can see our review for Docking Bay 7 HERE!
When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on August 29, we certainly expect the park experience to change in many ways. Now, we’re getting a first look at those changes!
We previously discovered that FastPass+ tiers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios may be changing, and now we’ve been able to see the changes for ourselves!
We’re back in Disneyland exploring Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on its first day of official openness!
At the top of our list when it came to our Galaxy’s Edge priorities were the two locations that still require a reservation: Oga’s Cantina and Savi’s Workshop.
We’re BACK at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland because TODAY IS THE DAY we have all been waiting for: the first day for regular guest admission into the land.
Since the opening of Galaxy’s Edge on May 31, 2019, guests have only been able to enter if they had a reservation, which they could obtain by staying at a Disney resort or by getting one of the few offered online. But now, anyone can get into Galaxy’s Edge (here’s how to get into Galaxy’s Edge now that the reservation period is closed)…and the land is experiencing some growing pains!
is officially open in Disneyland, so you know what that means: TONS of new and exciting merchandise… and it’s still rolling in!
Just yesterday the Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge at long last began selling the souvenir Milk Sipper — which you can see here. Another highly anticipated item (ever since its announcement in April) is the DJ R3X Funko Pop! which is now available exclusively in Disneyland!
We’ve kept up with the progress on Disneyland’s Pixar Pals parking structure for a while now, and we were thrilled to discover it will open much earlier than expected!
The 6,500 space garage will certainly be helpful for guests visiting Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
