Disney’s Hollywood Studios might feel like a complete mish-mash of lots of different things (seriously, Star Wars AND Muppets?), but that’s one of the reasons we love it.

It’s also one of the parks that has some of our favorite food: we’ll go on forever AND EVER about the Carrot Cake Cookie, meals at the Hollywood Brown Derby, AND Totchos. But what’s been going on at Hollywood Studios recently? Let’s dive right into some updates!
Disney has released a TON of new merchandise in the past few months…it’s almost overwhelming!
50th Anniversary Merchandise
We’re finding new things to buy online every week — from the 50th Anniversary collections to the new Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction monthly series. And now, there’s a HUGE new collection to check out both in the parks and on shopDisney.
Is it just us or does Disneyland seem to get more characters, more merchandise, and more special food than Disney World?

We tried a bunch of different Star Wars themed snacks on May the 4th, have been spotting new Star Wars merch collections, and the highly anticipated Kenobi series comes out at the end of the month. If you’re in Disneyland and are looking for a Star Wars sweet treat, then you might want to head over to a hotel!

Of course, May 4th was packed with unique offerings to celebrate Star Wars. But that’s not the only day Star Wars fans had to look forward to in May! There’s also the upcoming Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim from May 26th to May 29th, Star Wars Nite in Disneyland on May 27th, and the premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+ this May 27th! Phew, that is A LOT. And if you’re looking for the perfect accessory for any of these occasions, we found a collection that you need to see!
The Galactic Starcruiser, AKA the Star Wars Hotel, opened up officially back in March of this year, and we got to check it ALL out!

We trained with lightsabers, ate ALL of the food (literally all of it), and saw some fun entertainment on board like fireworks. Trips on the ship have been pretty booked up since it opened, and Disney says they don’t expect that to change any time soon.
There’s a reason Disney Springs is commonly referred to as a must-do spot in Disney World — there’s a lot to do there! Disney Springs has some of the best dining experiences on Disney World property as well as both Disney and non-Disney stores.

That means we’re still celebrating by trying out even MORE tasty Star Wars-themed snacks at Disneyland (though they won’t be here forever!). So far, we’ve had a new kind of Blue Milk (with MANGO!), a gigantic Wookie Cookie, and even Star Wars-themed pasta. Now we’re back to try out a new lightsaber-themed treat — and no, it’s NOT a churro!
