At the Destination D23 Expo last fall, Disney’s Chairman of Parks, Experiences and Products Josh D’Amaro announced a multi-year expansion of Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District that will add more shopping, dining, entertainment, and green space to the resort!

The exact details of what’s to come to Disneyland’s shopping and dining district has yet to be announced. However, in order to make room for these changes, a few existing locations will soon close.
It was a BIG week in Disneyland this week! In fact, this might have been the biggest week since the parks closed a year ago! That’s because for the first time, guests were allowed into a FULL Disney California Adventure!

While no rides are available, guests who purchased tickets to A Touch of Disney are able to say “hello” to some of their favorite characters, eat some yummy treats, and stroll around the vast majority of California Adventure.
