Disney movies have had an interesting relationship with streaming over the past couple years.

With the global pandemic shutting down theaters for a while, many movies that would’ve had big theatrical releases went straight to Disney+. Then, as things started opening up more, there were some films, like Black Widow, that premiered in both theaters and on Disney+, but for a premium price on the streaming service.
