Is there a better place to spend a day than Magic Kingdom? We’re not sure.
We’re taking a stroll through Magic Kingdom to make sure we can spot anything new. So, here are all the updates in food, construction, and merchandise!
We’re REALLY glad we wore our stretchy pants today because we’ve eaten so many holiday treats already (and it’s only the first day of the season)!
As we’ve walked around the Magic Kingdom, we’ve tried Gingerbread and Apple Churros, Let It Snow Taco, and the very strange Pistachio Chai Tea Float. But, even though we’ve been making our snack list and checking it twice, there was a SURPRISE dessert that popped up over at Storybook Treats!
There’s ALWAYS that one person in our group who tries something gross and then makes all of their companions try it! We all know that person: they take a bite or a sip, their face cringes, and then they pass it around to everyone in their group so THEY can suffer, too.
Let’s look back on a few snacks in Disney World that could totally gross people out (and some that have DEFINITELY grossed US out in the past), but also inspire them to take another bite or sip.
When it comes to visiting Disney World, one of our top pieces of advice is to STAY HYDRATED! Seriously, it can get hot in Florida, and it’s important to make sure you’re drinking plenty of water!
And although we’ve always suggested taking advantage of free water at the parks (because, yes, you can get FREE water), we found out last week that this has changed, at least as to where you can get that water! Therefore, we compiled a list of all the spots you can easily snag that much needed free water!Â
Yes, it’s officially autumn. And yes… it’s also just over 90 degrees in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom today.
So, as you can imagine, we were in search of a nice, cold cup of ice water during our visit! Typically, many counter service locations offer cups of ice water by request. However, in some cases you’ll notice that things have changed… though, the MAIN thing hasn’t: you CAN still get free ice water in the Disney World theme parks. However, we wanted to give you a little heads up on the process for your next visit. [Read more…]
We’ve tried our fair share of ice cream and soft-serve flavors in Disney parks over the years. We can always rely on classic frozen favorites at Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, Sunshine Tree Terrace, and L’Artisan des Glaces, but we’ve also seen some pretty bizarre flavors appear, especially over at Salt & Straw in Downtown Disney!
But never in our wildest dreams did we imagine trying CHEESE ice cream in Disney World! You guys know our long-standing love of all things cheese in Disney World. So you can only imagine our shock and curiosity when we discovered that there was a cheese-flavored frozen treat in Magic Kingdom! Turns out that just because something is cheese flavored, doesn’t mean it’s an automatic hit!
Prepare yourselves, poor unfortunate souls.
Another epic Halloween treat has returned to Disney World and we’re here to tell ya if it’s worth the adorable Insta pics.
Thinking about spending the day in Disney’s flagship park?
Well, you’ll want to make sure you know what new stuff to look for! We were spending some time in the park mulling over our best ride picks yesterday and we spotted a TON of new updates. Here’s everything new in Magic Kingdom in food, construction, and merchandise!
When we think of a wonderful thought, we often reminisce over our favorite Disney World snacks — especially the cute ones themed after characters!
We’ve noticed several menu changes over the last few weeks as many theme park restaurants are getting ready to reopen, and now we’ve just learned two of our favorite treats AREN’T showing up on menus anymore!
As we’ve previously seen before select Disney Springs dining locations and Disney World resort restaurants reopened, sweeping menu cuts are now occurring at several theme park restaurants.
Just recently, Disney has shared with us which Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom restaurants will be reopening on July 11th as well as which dining locations will be available when Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot resume on July 15th. Disney is offering limited menus at many of the resorts and Disney Springs restaurants for the time being. And, now it looks like the parks are following suit.
