What if you could LIVE at Disney?

Okay, living IN the parks may not be a possibility right now, but Disney has built some communities outside the parks where you can live (though it’s NOT cheap!). A while ago, it was announced that Disney would start building a master-planned community called Cotino in California, which would be a Storyliving by Disney project. Now we’ve got a big update on WHEN the first guests could be welcomed into the community!

Disney has! That’s why it recently announced the Storyliving by Disney project, which is a project that will build Disney residential communities across the country. One of the first is a luxurious community called Cotino in California’s Coachella Valley, which the company broke ground on back in April. Now, Disney has shared some concept art designs of what the houses in Cotino might look like.
It’s absolutely heartbreaking to leave Disney World after your vacation. That feeling when you exit the park for the last time on that trip and then pack up your suitcase and board the plane home…it’s not fun. So we know we’re not the only ones who dream about living in Disney World all the time!
We don’t want to go!
Although you can’t live in the Cinderella Castle, Disney actually has built a few different communities where people really can live. And they’re working on building even MORE residential communities right now! In fact, they recently broke ground on the NEW Cotino community! But surely living in a Disney-owned neighborhood doesn’t come cheap, right? So exactly how much could it cost to live in Cotino (a Storyliving by Disney community)? We did some research, and we’ve got a pretty good guess.
The Magical Express is gone! Disney has shifted its focus to streaming! Extra Magic Hours have been replaced! A LOT has changed with the Disney company and the Disney parks over the past few years, but things are only just getting started.

Lately, Disney has been investing quite a bit of time and energy into its real estate projects, including a recently announced affordable housing project in Orlando and a luxurious master-planned community, Cotino, in California’s Coachella Valley. As plans for these communities continue to take shape, Disney has just released details on the groundbreaking ceremony for Cotino.Â
The Disney parks aren’t the only places you can find Disney Magic. And we aren’t just talking about Adventures by Disney or the Disney Cruise Line either!
