Dole Whip alert! We’re back in Magic Kingdom, specifically at Aloha Isle today on a VERY special mission.
We tried to score our favorite Magic Kingdom frozen treat last week but we were unsuccessful! They were out of a few of the ingredients, so we had to settle for coconut soft serve on its own. So we made sure to set our alarm this morning to make sure we were the first ones in line to be reunited with our beloved Kakamora Float!
Our Disney World diet has consisted of Dole Whips, Dole Whips, and more Dole Whips ever since the parks reopened.
Although we’ve been rotating the Raspberry Dole Whip, Peter Pan Float, and Kakamora Float with our other Dole Whip picks, Magic Kingdom has brought back yet another float that you’re going to want to try ASAP!
When we think of a wonderful thought, we often reminisce over our favorite Disney World snacks — especially the cute ones themed after characters!
We’ve noticed several menu changes over the last few weeks as many theme park restaurants are getting ready to reopen, and now we’ve just learned two of our favorite treats AREN’T showing up on menus anymore!
As we’ve previously seen before select Disney Springs dining locations and Disney World resort restaurants reopened, sweeping menu cuts are now occurring at several theme park restaurants.
Just recently, Disney has shared with us which Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom restaurants will be reopening on July 11th as well as which dining locations will be available when Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot resume on July 15th. Disney is offering limited menus at many of the resorts and Disney Springs restaurants for the time being. And, now it looks like the parks are following suit.
The Dole Whip is one POPULAR Disney snack! It may even be the most iconic Disney Parks snack of all time if we do say so ourselves! We know it’s super popular with our readers — it was voted the ultimate champion of our Snack Madness!
So we went ahead and made an entire page devoted to this beloved frozen treat, complete with its history and some of our favorite variations we’ve seen over the years! If you’ve ever wondered WHY Dole Whip is so popular when it comes to Disney Parks, you can read all about its history and how it has evolved over the years!
We here at DFB talk a lot about what the BEST food items are in Disney World.
We have lots of favorites — some are classic and some are brand-new — but there are some Disney foods that are undeniably good. How? They’ve stood the test of time!
We’re taking a look at some of the dishes in Disney that have been around since OPENING DAY of their park or restaurant. You KNOW how often menus change in Disney, so that’s quite a feat!
Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is FULL of incredible food and we know where to find it. There are so many options for great eats, in fact, that it can lead to some tough decisions! There are even some food options you may not know even exist, making your choice on what to eat even TOUGHER!
There is so much more to Magic Kingdom than just burgers and chicken nuggets, and that’s why we’re here! If you’re struggling to decide what to order next time you’re in the Most Magical Place on Earth, let us help!
Oh, Disney World — you give us SO MANY delicious snacks. There are Dole Whips, Mickey Pretzels, Corn Dog Nuggets, and more. How could we possibly choose a favorite? (Oh wait…I guess we already did!)
But if we could only pick ONE land in the Magic Kingdom, which would reign supreme? We’re ranking them ALL right here!
We’ve been baking up a Disney recipe storm in our kitchens (and eating too many sweets while we’re at it, tbh).
Although we’ve made some pretty epic Disney breakfasts on top of recreating churros from the parks and the Carrot Cake Cookies from the Writer’s Stop, we’re missing our DFB snack crawls in Disney World. While we’re daydreaming about the parks’ reopening, we’re challenging YOU (yeah you…in the stretchy pants) to conquer these giant snack challenges once Disney World welcomes guests again!
