We’ve seen some…rather interesting souvenirs in Disney World.
Some are just crazy expensive, like that crystal version of Cinderella Castle in Crystal Arts in Magic Kingdom (we’ll buy this when we when the lottery). Then there was the Figment Popcorn Bucket that dropped in 2022 and caused sheer chaos in EPCOT. Some souvenirs, though, are just so OUT there, so OUTRAGEOUS, that we wonder why Disney decided to sell them.
We probably let Disney get away with more than we should…ya know, merchandise-wise!
Over the years, we’ve seen a fair share of souvenirs that were outrageously expensive (the crystal Cinderella Castle model chief among them) or honestly low-key frightening (like the pricey Ewok plush with dead eyes). And now we’ve just come to expect the unexpected when we walk into a Disney World gift shop. But that doesn’t mean we’re going to stop sharing our bizarre merchandise finds with you…especially one we spotted in Magic Kingdom!
It may still be pretty chilly where you are, and for many of us, we haven’t gotten a nice sunny day in a while!
We’re about ready to skip the next month or so and head straight for spring! And luckily, it looks like Disney is too. While we may still be experiencing some cold days in Disney World, this Winnie the Pooh collection online is all about SPRING!
Can’t find a spare ballgown to use for your trip to the grocery store? Need to add a little Disney Princess style to your wardrobe when those glass slippers are getting cleaned up in the shop? No worries, Disney has you covered!
Aside from their kindness, bravery, and talent for singing (among other things), Disney Princesses do seem to have some pretty amazing fashion sense. You could grab the new Tiana dress (it’s pretty epic). But what if you’re looking to add some Disney style to your wardrobe as temperatures stay cool near you? Well, you don’t have to choose between looking cute and staying warm with Disney’s latest items!
Can we all agree that “ugly Christmas sweaters” aren’t actually ugly?
They’re cute, cozy, and festive, and honestly, the patterns slap. Sweaters are a topic we take pretty seriously over here, and we’re constantly reporting on the Disney sweater scene. Obviously, we think that Figment Sweater Day should be a national holiday, and we’re keeping track of all of the new sweaters from the Disney parks. However, if you want to have the most unique holiday sweater this season, you might have to make it yourself. [Read more…]
We take perverse pleasure each December in raiding our closets for ugly Christmas sweaters. The problem is, this year BoxLunch is taking all the fun out of watching our horrified relatives’ jaws drop.
These new Disney Christmas sweaters are actually pretty stylish! And with Star Wars apparel aplenty, the Force will be with you even as the temperature plummets from Tattooine summer to icy Hoth. [Read more…]
Ugly Christmas sweater season has begun! In October?! Yes, in October!! Both Disneyland and Disney World can get pretty cold in the winter, and it’s generally a good idea to pack a sweater or two if you’re visiting during the holiday season!
And what’s better than wearing matching “ugly” sweaters in a Disney Park!? Disney just released some really great “ugly” holiday sweaters and they could be perfect for a holiday Disney trip or just for some awesome family photos at home!
Hello, everyone, from beautiful Disney Springs!
We’re back with another update, and this time, it includes a mysterious gargoyle, new kid’s clothing, and more!
The Annual Passholder pop-up shop in EPCOT has closed, but now there’s a NEW Passholder-exclusive shopping opportunity in town!
We recently learned that several locations in the Magic Kingdom would begin offering exclusive Annual Passholder merchandise starting on November 30th. And today we’re checking out the FESTIVE new merch featuring the Holiday Cinderella Castle Projections!
