Although we love just hanging out here and oohing and aahing at the animals on the savannas, we also spent some time checking out what’s new at the resort. So here are the latest updates!

It looks like guests will soon be able to set foot inside The Mara once again over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

The primary Counter Service location for Animal Kingdom Lodge, located in Jambo House, has been closed while Kidani Village is currently the portion of the Resort that is hosting guests. Hello, DFB friends! We spent a day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

So what’s new since the last we visited these two locations? Keep reading to find out!
One of our favorite dining locations at Disney World is at BOMA at Animal Kingdom Lodge. It’s also the restaurant where we discovered one of our absolute favorite snacks: Zebra Domes! Unfortunately, BOMA is still closed even months after the parks’ reopening.

Zebra Domes were also previously available at The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge, but guess what? That’s closed, too! WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of our FAVORITE resort hotels when it comes to all things FOOD.

There are some simply incredible restaurants here to choose from and we totally recommend you check this resort out, even if you aren’t staying here!
