You could rent a car or try a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. If you want more of a shuttle, there are options like Mears and Sunshine Flyer. And for those traveling this summer, there’s a great way to SAVE on your airport transportation!

Sunshine Flyer
Getting to Disney World from the airport might not be the same as it once was (we still miss Magical Express 😢), but you still have a few options for transportation. Mears Connect and The Sunshine Flyer both offer direct services to Disney, and currently one of them is running a sale!
If you’ll be flying to Disney World soon, there’s a transportation deal you may want to take advantage of ASAP.
Sunshine Flyer
The Magical Express is gone, so you’ll need to find alternative transportation to take you to/from the Orlando Airport and Disney World. One thing you could use is The Sunshine Flyer (essentially a Magical Express replacement service that you have to pay for). You could previously save BIG on future Sunshine Flyer trips thanks to some Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. But if you missed those, don’t worry!
There are LOTS of ways to in around Disney World.

There are the Disney buses, the Skyliner, and the ferries, not to mention that you can take a rideshare service or your own car/a rental car around as well. But what about getting to and from the airport? Disney’s got two direct services, The Sunshine Flyer and Mears Connect, and one of them has a pretty sweet Black Friday deal!

It’s been several months since we said goodbye to Disney’s Magical Express.
Magical Express bus
This complimentary bus service shuttled guests from the Orlando International Airport to their Disney Resort hotel and vice versa, but Disney ended the Magical Express in early 2022. In its place, a few new contenders have emerged, including the Sunshine Flyer. It seems to be doing well, too, because the Sunshine Flyer has EXPANDED!
There’s no point in sugar-coating it or pretending like it’ll just go away. Let’s face the facts — getting to Disney World from Orlando International Airport is no longer as “easy” and cheap as it used to be.
We will miss you, Magical Express!
At the start of 2022, Disney’s Magical Express concluded its service. A moment of silence, please, for the loss of this iconic service. 😢 Since you can no longer hum your Disney tunes, hop on the Magical Express, and *magically* arrive at your Disney World hotel, you’ll need to figure out what other options you have when it comes to ground transportation from the airport to Disney World. Aside from just what options you have, you may be wondering just how LONG it’ll take you to get from one spot to the other and whether the use of any of these options makes a difference. Now that we’re about a month into 2022, it’s finally starting to sink in that Disney’s Magical Express service is really gone. In its place, there are several transportation options that will take guests to and from the airport (for a price!). But as more time passes, we’ve started seeing more new transportation options appear around Orlando, including a new bus shuttle service that will compete with Mears Connect called The Sunshine Flyer!

Think of The Sunshine Flyer like the old Magical Express buses, but with a little bit of a 🚂railroad🚂 flair! After a few weeks of anticipation, The Sunshine Flyer is up and running.
