Welcome to another What’s New coming at you from Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom! Lately we’ve seen lots of construction progress in various locations, and there’s no shortage of new merchandise, either! So put on your sunscreen, and let’s explore!
Construction continues on the pathway that meanders behind Cinderella Castle. [Read more…]
VROOM!! The Tomorrowland Speedway is now reopen to drivers — both young and young-at-heart — in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
The attraction closed on January 2nd to accommodate construction for the upcoming TRON coaster opening in 2021.
But drivers can start their engines once again as of today! [Read more…]
Happy weekend and Happy Mother’s Day! Here’s all the Disney food news this week!
First, a few things to remember…
The 2019 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is in full bloom, and we have the menus! Be sure to check out our BEST of the Fest! AND – the opening dates for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge were announced for BOTH Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We have a lot to share with you this week, so let’s jump right in…
Hello from the Magic Kingdom! We had a sweet time in the park this week as we found new eats, a ton of new Aladdin-inspired merchandise, and caught up on the construction in park (including an area getting a new paint job)!
We started our visit by saying “Hello!” to Friar Tuck and Prince John from Robin Hood.
Tomorrowland Speedway
in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is set to reopen this spring — and we’ve got two big hints that reopening day is coming soon!

Mickey’s 90th birthday celebrations continue in the Magic Kingdom with Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration. We spotted the return of the festive looking Mickey Confetti Pretzel on our visit to the park this week as well as new menu items, new merchandise, and construction updates.
Before you even enter the park you’ll find some ongoing construction at the park entrance area.
There sure is a whole lotta construction happening in the Magic Kingdom these days! While it’s not quite as intrusive as all of the work happening in Disneyland, we’re starting to feel a little claustrophobic with all these walls going up!
The kids’ water play area in Storybook Circus is getting a few updates. The interactive area features Casey Jr. – the train from the classic Dumbo film – along with a monkey, elephant, and camel that spray water.
This week’s visit to the Magic Kingdom was jam-packed with updates since our last visit! There’s new Valentine’s Chocolates, Krispie Treats, Loaded Hot Dogs and Corn Dogs, Eclairs, Refurbishments, Construction, Merchandise, and Alien Popcorn Buckets!
If you’re looking for that perfect treat for your sweetheart the Confectionery on Main Street, U.S.A. has some new Chocolate Truffles that come complete with a solid milk chocolate card!
We’re back!
After recovering from (over)eating for the holidays and welcoming in 2019 we headed to Magic Kingdom to see what’s new for the new year in the park.
And we were rewarded with some new treats (BIG and small), merchandise, and more. Read along to see everything we found!
