Here at DFB, we’re pretty frequent Disney-goers, so we usually notice when things are missing from the parks.
Something (or should we say someone) was missing from Tomorrowland today!
Whether it be an animatronic, a piece of a ride, or a sign that’s out of place, we tend to know when things aren’t right in the parks. But today, something big was missing from a Magic Kingdom ride, and it was pretty obvious!
Disney World’s turning 50 this year and there’s a MASSIVE celebration that’s about to begin!
Cinderella Castle has been redecorated for the 50th Anniversary!
We’re already seeing a lot of things in the parks in anticipation of the celebration’s opening day, on October 1st. Cinderella Castle got a serious glow-up. EPCOT is undergoing a massive transformation. The park icons have started getting their new lighting schemes. We’re getting TWO new nighttime shows, one at Magic Kingdom and another at EPCOT.

From new rides and whole new parks to iconic new snacks, it’s safe to say that Disney looks very different than it did way back in 1971. As we prepare to celebrate Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, let’s wind back the clock and see what Magic Kingdom looked like 50 years ago!Â
Disneyland’s new Magic Key program has only been around for one week, and we’re already seeing some neat Magic Key-exclusive offerings pop up around the parks.

From merchandise to photo ops, there are lots of ways Magic Key holders can take advantage of this new “Annual Pass” system, including a brand new, limited-time lounge that just opened up in Tomorrowland!
