Hollywood Studios is exciting these days — between prep for the 30th Anniversary celebration (See the events and food here!), Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge construction updates, Skyliner station progress, and new merchandise (Avengers, Rebecca Hook Jewelry, and New Vintage Shirts), we hardly know where to start!
What better place than at the entrance? Or maybe even before… because when you visit Hollywood Studios, currently you’ll see lots of construction and projects before you even enter the park.
The first quarter of 2019 is complete, and it’s time to get down to business. Of course, we mean cupcakes and the business of our 2019 Cupcake Crawl! But let’s address the buttercream in the room: with only three months under our (cupcake-filled) belts, we’re going to need to come back in a few months with a some new additions — so be on the lookout for the summer’s updated crawl! 😉
Come along as we list cupcakes you’ve got to try (so far!!) in 2019!
Our first entry in the Cupcake Crawl is a little loaded, and that’s because it’s an old favorite with a slightly new look (and taste!). The Peanut Butter Crunch Cupcake (a/k/a the Butterfinger Cupcake) has been a DFB favorite for years. The chocolate cake filled with dense chocolate ganache and topped with peanut butter frosting and crushed Butterfinger really worked for our PB&C obsession. Gone is the massive mountain of frosting covered in plentiful Butterfinger bits, replaced by a moderately sized pile of frosting covered in Butterfinger bits. Gone (maybe?) is the dense chocolate filling — now it’s more of a chocolate sauce filling. [Read more…]
It’s time to make another stop into Disney’s Hollywood Studios where construction continues in earnest on three BIG projects! Plus we’ve got a little merchandise and menu update! Come along with us, superstars!
There’s progress on construction right at the entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but there’s a bit of debate about what this will be.
The cast member we spoke to this week said it’s extra bag check space in anticipation of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. [Read more…]
As we launch into March, we want to highlight some awesome new finds and upcoming events that we think you’ve got to check out if you’re at Walt Disney World this month!
These are exclusive, Disney World must-eats that are taking the social media world by storm! Let’s check them out!
February was a delicious month, but the crowning food achievement were Cones with Character! This is basically the advent of NEW DOLE WHIP FLAVORS in Disney World!
The Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is always one of our first stops in the park for either our daily Starbucks, or to satisfy our sweet tooth. This week we were delighted to find four brand new patisserie-worthy pastries in the window at this location.
But, once the excitement over the new pasties settled — we noticed even more big news, with the help of a cast member at the location. Something was missing in the bakery case — something BIG — and it is not only a DFB favorite, but a park-guest and DFB reader favorite.
