There are some days when your resort pool may feel a little crowded, or maybe you’re looking for a little more thrill and the slide at your pool just isn’t cutting it. Well, after a LONG period of closure, we’ve got some EXCITING news for our water park-lovers! Â
There’s an incoming WAVE of news!
While Blizzard Beach has been open since March 2021, Typhoon Lagoon has remained closed. But now, we finally have an OPENING DATE for Typhoon Lagoon!
All four Disney World theme parks have now welcomed back guests, but some parts of the Resort still remain closed!
Typhoon Lagoon
In the initial phase of reopening, some Disney World attractions and experiences will remain unavailable. So, if you’re headed to Disney World in the near future, prepare yourself for the lack of parades, fireworks, select attractions, restaurants — and water parks! Both Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach are still closed, and Disney has yet to announce a planned reopening date for either park.
Disney H2O Glow Nights will return to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park this summer for select nights starting May 30th.

This extra ticket event features glow-in-the-dark fun after the sun goes down with shorter wait times for the park’s waterslides and a DJ dance party. [Read more…]
