We are huge supporters of planning ahead for your Disney World trip, but what about planning ahead by over 20 years?
Well, if you are a fan of solar eclipses, you may want to consider planning a Disney World trip for August 12th, 2045.Â
Pueblo Esperanza is the NEW Tropical Americas-themed land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
This new land will feature details from the Tropical Americas as well as Encanto and Indiana Jones rides. We’ll see the beautiful and bountiful life from these areas of the world while enjoying aspects of some fun Disney movies! The new land will be replacing what is currently DinoLand, U.S.A., at Animal Kingdom, and construction will be beginning soon. In fact, Disney just made a HUGE announcement about the first phase of the creation of this new land.
You’ll find TONS of souvenirs around Disney World. Disney offers lots of variety in their merchandise, so you’ll likely find something you love and want to take home.
Some items are typically more popular than others and can be found at several locations, including multiple parks. Some of these items are Loungefly backpacks, t-shirts, Spirit Jersey shirts, and, of course, Mickey and Minnie ears. But Cast Members have recently noticed the rising popularity of certain souvenirs that you can only find in one spot in all of Disney World!
We finally have DinoLand, U.S.A. news!
Disney had a BUSY night on August 10th at the Disney Experiences Showcase: Horizons at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. We heard HUGE news about Disney parks, cruise ships, and even video games. Disney dropped new nighttime entertainment coming to Magic Kingdom, new lands headed to Magic Kingdom, and, of course, they talked about the re-theming of DinoLand, U.S.A. in Animal Kingdom. The last we heard about this re-theming project was that the land was going to become the Tropical Americas, but now, we have a name for the new land along with the Disney movie inspiration and new rides!
One of the best things about visiting Disney World is seeing the characters!
There are also so many opportunities to see them, too — they turn up in character cavalcades, in parades, and at character meet and greets. Some even roam around the parks so you can randomly bump into them. Now, characters are returning to the parks, and that includes some very popular character meet and greets in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
In case you haven’t already noticed, we’re a little bit obsessed with the Halloween season in Disney World.
From spooky snacks and souvenirs to frightful fun at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there’s so much to experience during the fall season in the parks. Our first sign came in the form of pumpkins and jack-o’-lanterns lining a few of the buildings here and there on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom, and then we noticed a few more pumpkin pals — this time in the form of scarecrows — and now, Halloween is one step closer to being in full swing because the Cinderella Carriage Pumpkin Wreaths are BACK!
Is Magic Kingdom getting spookier…or is it just your imagination?! (We fully intended for you to read that in the Ghost Host’s voice.)
We tasked ourselves with a chilling challenge: to find all of the tricks (and treats) around Magic Kingdom! Of course, more spooks are filling the park as Disney prepares to host Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this month. And that includes frighteningly festive décor…which we just spotted more of!
Are you ready for the spookiest time of year in Disney World?!
We know we are! Between the Halloween merchandise previews and new items that have arrived online to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party getting ready to kick off, the festive fall season has finally arrived! Not only that, but some Halloween decorations that are so loved by many have returned to Magic Kingdom — let’s check them out!
Disney somehow finds a way to appeal to all of our senses.Â
Sight? Our eyes sparkle (quite literally) as we watch nighttime shows like Disney Enchantment fireworks. Smell? Pirates of the Caribbean — need we say more? Taste? Easy —Churros, Dole Whips…the list goes on and on. Touch? Hugging a loved one after they conquer their fear of riding a big roller coaster for the first time. And when it comes to hearing, we can think of soooo many sounds around Disney World that make our ears happy. And we wanted to see what Disney sounds you enjoy too!
We love love!
Valentine’s Day is only a few weeks away (which is crazy because we’re pretty sure Christmas was last week,) and Disney is giving us all of the pink and red hearts we can handle! We recently saw these Valentine’s ears that are coming to the parks soon, these Retro Sweetheart Mickey and Minnie Dolls, and even a Love Potion that did NOT work! The Main Street Confectionery is always cooking up something seasonal and sweet, and Valentine’s Day is no exception! [Read more…]
