Disney World is a popular park that visitors come from all over the world to experience.

From watching Mickey and Minnie perform in front of Cinderella Castle to enjoying a DOLE Whip in Adventureland, there are some iconic experiences to be had within the park. But, just how popular is this park compared to others around the country? You might be surprised to find out that it’s not the top-ranking park in the US!
After dismantling Disney World’s special taxing district and replacing it with the DeSantis-appointed Central Florida Tourism Oversight District, Universal has now filed for a special tax district of its own.
Disney is currently suing DeSantis in federal court over the matter, claiming retaliation and infringement on its First Amendment rights. And now, with Universal’s special tax district approval, Disney has shared its thoughts in a new court filing.

A NEW land is officially opening soon in a popular Orlando theme park!
Minion Land at Universal Orlando Resort will feature a BRAND NEW attraction — Villain-Con Minion Blast — as well as tons of ridiculously adorable Minion-themed food, merchandise, and more. The land has gone through a soft opening already, but now we know just when it’ll “officially” be available for everyone to check out!
We know we talk about Disney World a LOT here, but we’re going to switch gears and talk about something else.
We know a lot of Disney World fans ALSO go to Universal Orlando quite a bit (and why not? They’re both in the same area!). Maybe you’re even Disney World Annual Passholders. But if you’ve ever considered becoming a Universal Orlando Passholder, we might just have the very thing to convince you to sign up — you can now get FREE months on a pass!
If you’ve been here a while, you know that we’re a little nerdy when it comes to Disney.
We’ve seen the animated classics countless times, visit the parks daily, and altogether our staff probably owns an obscene amount of Disney merchandise. But besides those “typical” fan behaviors, we like to glance at the Disney data every now and then. We keep up with the stocks, the quarterly financial reports, and of course, the theme park rankings and surveys. And recently, a new report came out with some very interesting results.
Disney World isn’t the ONLY resort in Orlando with a lot of new stuff coming soon to its theme parks.
Universal Orlando has been busy adding some new things, too, including a brand new park called Epic Universe, as well as a new LAND, Minion Land, based on the Despicable Me movies. Well, now, we’ve got some brand NEW details about Minion Land, including what kind of food you’ll be able to get there (and trust us — it’s exciting)!
