It’s the Swahili word for “Hello,” which fits in perfectly at the park. We tend to feel welcome there, too, especially when we get to walk around to see a slew of animals on the walking trails and on Kilimanjaro Safaris. So what’s been going on at Animal Kingdom lately? Let’s find out!

Well, January was an interesting month at Disney World!
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
Let’s just say we were surprised by the brutally cold weather (okay, so it DOES get cold in Florida, and we were FREEZING) and the crowds unlike what we’ve seen before this time of year. But we’re still out there doing our thing, checking out all the hotels and seeing what’s new. So let’s get on with some updates!

The weather spent a lot of time being wet AND cold (colder than we’ve been in Florida in a while!). We’ve also seen an unusual amount of crowds for this time of year! It’s been an interesting 2022 so far. And we can’t forget about all of the Christmas merchandise we’ve seen lately (in late January!). So now take a walk with us at Disney Springs to see what’s new there and see what unique items we’ve found in this shopping & entertainment spot!

A fun way to participate in Lunar New Year!
We’ve been at Disneyland recently enjoying all the entertainment, food, characters, and more at the Lunar New Year Celebration at Disney California Adventure. But we’ve also been visiting other parts of the resort checking for updates to make sure we get you info. on all the new stuff. So let’s get on with some updates, shall we?
It’s hard not to love Disney’s Animal Kingdom? It’s got tons of shade (and believe us, that is IMPORTANT), beautiful theming, and animals!

The food here is also AMAZING and you can grab some unique souvenirs (Yeti backpack anyone?) in the park that you can’t find anywhere else in Disney World. And we’ve been to Animal Kingdom very recently to see what’s been going on and what’s new. So let’s get on with the updates!

Well, another year has arrived at Disneyland Resort, and we are so ready for whatever 2022 might bring. And although we’ve already got some attractions closing soon for refurbishments (the Monorail, The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, and Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind), we’ve also got the return of Grad Nights to look forward to, as well as a complete Toon Town makeover (although we won’t see that until 2023).
