Hello, DFB friends!
We spent a day at Magic Kingdom and then popped over to the nearby Monorail Resorts to see what’s new. The list is short, but there are SOME updates, so let’s get going!
In case you haven’t noticed, there is a LOT of construction going on around EPCOT right now!
And that means we have SO much to look forward to over the upcoming months and years, including Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, a new creperie, and more! But there’s one upcoming EPCOT attraction we might just be the most stoked about — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
There is so much going on at EPCOT right now!
If you’ve been to EPCOT recently, you’ve seen a lot of construction, especially around the France Pavilion with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris coming soon, and with the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction! And we also have a new nighttime attraction coming soon!
Hello from Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We took a walk around the park and to find the latest food, construction, and merchandise updates. Here’s what we found!
Hello, DFB friends, from EPCOT! We took a walk around the park to see what was new since the last time we visited, so are you ready? Because there’s A LOT of ground to cover here… .
J/K LOL! There’s not TOO too much going on that’s new in EPCOT from our last walk, but what we did find is super fun!
Hello, DFB Friends. Welcome to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
It was a beautiful day to take a walk around the park to see what’s new!
A few weeks ago, Disney announced that Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa would begin a phased reopening on November 1st.
Later, a special deal was announced that allows guests to save up to 35% on their stay at Aulani! Now, we’ve got even more updates about the Resort’s scheduled reopening.
If you’re looking for some yummy Japanese eats during your trip to EPCOT, you’ve only got a few places to choose from right now.
The 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is currently underway which means you can swing by the Japan food booth for some Frothy Ramen or Tempura Donburi! You can also trek up the hill to dine at Katsura Grill, which is now serving a few new menu items including a Menchi Katsu Slider and Yuzu Miso Wings.Â

Picnic in the Park in its original format stopped being offered in 2010. After, a grab-and-go option was offered from Beastly Bazaar in Discovery Island. The Grab and Go meal came with a reusable bag. Meal choices for two ($17.99), three ($24.99) or four ($32.99) persons. Meals included: choice of sandwiches, chips, desserts, plus a bottled water. Guests with the Disney Dining Plan could use quick-service credits.
Beastly Bazaar closed in August 2012. Therefore, we are unsure if the grab and go picnic option was moved to another merchandise location. Stay tuned for more information.
2010 Info:
Hey all! Thanks to reader Nancy Toby, we’ve got updates to the Picnic in the Park situation:
Currently, Picnic in the Park is available to anyone via a grab-and-go area in the Beastly Bazaar in Discovery Island.
According to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel, “guests may purchase a picnic for a group of 2, 4, or 6 people and select a non-alcoholic beverage, a choice of sandwich, chips, and dessert. The sandwich choices include Turkey Focaccia; Ham and Salami on Ciabatta; Tuna on Pita; Vegetarian Wrap; and Chicken Caesar Wrap.”
